11Wenn nun die Vollkommenheit durch das levitische Priestertum wäre (denn in Verbindung mit demselben hat das Volk das Gesetz empfangen), welches Bedürfnis war noch vorhanden, daß ein anderer Priester nach der Ordnung Melchisedeks aufstehe, und nicht nach der Ordnung Aarons genannt werde?

11If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
