(poiché la legge non ha condotto nulla a compimento); ma v’è altresì l’introduzione d’una migliore speranza, mediante la quale ci accostiamo a Dio.

Porque nada perfeccionó la ley; mas hízolo la introducción de mejor esperanza, por la cual nos acercamos á Dios.

For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

(for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.
