Denn das (mosaische) Gesetz bestellt zu Hohenpriestern Menschen, die mit Schwachheit behaftet sind; das Wort des Eidschwurs dagegen, der erst nach dem Gesetz erfolgt ist, setzt einen Sohn ein, der für die Ewigkeit vollendet ist.

Porque la ley constituye sacerdotes á hombres flacos; mas la palabra del juramento, después de la ley, constituye al Hijo, hecho perfecto para siempre.

For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

For the law appoints men as high priests who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints a Son forever who has been perfected.
