Hebreos 7

Esse Melquisedeque era rei da cidade de Salém, e também um sacerdote do Deus Altíssimo. Quando Abraão estava regressando para casa depois de ter ganhado uma grande batalha contra muitos reis, Melquisedeque foi ao seu encontro e o abençoou.

PORQUE este Melchîsedec, rey de Salem, sacerdote del Dios Altísimo, el cual salió á recibir á Abraham que volvía de la derrota de los reyes, y le bendijo,

For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;

For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of God Most High, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,

Abraão, então, tomou a décima parte de tudo quanto havia ganho na batalha e deu a Melquisedeque. O nome de Melquisedeque significa “rei de justiça”. O seu nome também quer dizer “rei da paz”, por causa do nome da cidade dele, Salém, que quer dizer “Paz”.

Al cual asimismo dió Abraham los diezmos de todo, primeramente él se interpreta Rey de justicia; y luego también Rey de Salem, que es, Rey de paz;

To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;

to whom also Abraham divided a tenth part of all (being first, by interpretation, “king of righteousness”, and then also “king of Salem”, which means “king of peace”,

Melquisedeque aparece na história sem pai nem mãe, e não existem anotações sobre nenhum dos seus antepassados. Não há menção da origem nem do fim dos seus dias, sendo semelhante ao Filho de Deus; ele permanece sacerdote para sempre.

Sin padre, sin madre, sin linaje; que ni tiene principio de días, ni fin de vida, mas hecho semejante al Hijo de Dios, permanece sacerdote para siempre.

Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God), remains a priest continually.

Vejam então como este Melquisedeque é importante: Até mesmo Abraão, o primeiro e o mais respeitado de todo o povo escolhido de Deus, deu a Melquisedeque a décima parte dos despojos que ele tomou dos reis com quem estivera lutando.

Mirad pues cuán grande fué éste, al cual aun Abraham el patriarca dió diezmos de los despojos.

Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.

Now consider how great this man was, to whom even Abraham the patriarch gave a tenth out of the best plunder.

Conforme a Lei de Moisés, os sacerdotes, que são descendentes de Levi, recebiam do povo a décima parte de tudo, isto é, dos seus irmãos, embora estes fossem descendentes de Abraão.

Y ciertamente los que de los hijos de Leví toman el sacerdocio, tienen mandamiento de tomar del pueblo los diezmos según la ley, es á saber, de sus hermanos aunque también hayan salido de los lomos de Abraham.

And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

They indeed of the sons of Levi who receive the priest’s office have a commandment to take tithes from the people according to the law, that is, of their brothers, though these have come out of the body of Abraham,

Este homem, entretanto, não pertencia à descendência de Levi, e mesmo assim recebeu a décima parte de Abraão. Ele abençoou a Abraão, que havia recebido as promessas.

Mas aquél cuya genealogía no es contada de ellos, tomó de Abraham los diezmos, y bendijo al que tenía las promesas.

But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.

but he whose genealogy is not counted from them has accepted tithes from Abraham, and has blessed him who has the promises.

E como todos sabem, uma pessoa que tem poder para abençoar é sempre mais importante do que a que é abençoada.

Y sin contradicción alguna, lo que es menos es bendecido de lo que es más.

And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.

But without any dispute the lesser is blessed by the greater.

Os sacerdotes judaicos, embora fossem mortais, recebiam dízimos; somos informados, porém, que no caso de Melquisedeque, o dízimo foi recebido por alguém que continua vivo.

Y aquí ciertamente los hombres mortales toman los diezmos: mas allí, aquel del cual está dado testimonio que vive.

And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.

Here people who die receive tithes, but there one receives tithes of whom it is testified that he lives.

Poder-se-ia dizer que o próprio Levi, o antecessor de todos os sacerdotes judaicos, de todos os que recebem dízimos, pagou dízimos a Melquisedeque por meio de Abraão.

Y, por decirlo así, en Abraham fué diezmado también Leví, que recibe los diezmos;

And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.

We can say that through Abraham even Levi, who receives tithes, has paid tithes,

Embora Levi ainda não tivesse nascido, a semente da qual ele veio estava em Abraão quando Abraão pagou os dízimos a Melquisedeque.

Porque aun estaba en los lomos de su padre cuando Melchîsedec le salió al encuentro.

For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.

for he was yet in the body of his father when Melchizedek met him.

Se os sacerdotes judaicos e as suas leis fossem capazes de nos salvar, por que então Deus precisou mandar Cristo como sacerdote da mesma ordem de Melquisedeque, em vez de mandar alguém da ordem de Arão — a ordem à qual pertenciam todos os outros sacerdotes?

Si pues la perfección era por el sacerdocio Levítico (porque debajo de él recibió el pueblo la ley) ¿qué necesidad había aún de que se levantase otro sacerdote según el orden de Melchîsedec, y que no fuese llamado según el orden de Aarón?

If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

Now if perfection was through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people have received the law), what further need was there for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

E quando se muda o sacerdócio, a lei também muda.

Pues mudado el sacerdocio, necesario es que se haga también mudanza de la ley.

For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

For the priesthood being changed, there is of necessity a change made also in the law.

Ora, aquele de quem se dizem estas coisas pertencia a outra tribo. E nenhum membro dessa tribo jamais serviu como sacerdote.

Porque aquel del cual esto se dice, de otra tribu es, de la cual nadie asistió al altar.

For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.

For he of whom these things are said belongs to another tribe, from which no one has officiated at the altar.

Como todos sabemos, o nosso Senhor é descendente da tribo de Judá, que não havia sido escolhida para o sacerdócio; Moisés nunca lhes dera aquele serviço.

Porque notorio es que el Señor nuestro nació de la tribu de Judá, sobre cuya tribu nada habló Moisés tocante al sacerdocio.

For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.

For it is evident that our Lord has sprung out of Judah, about which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.

Portanto, podemos ver claramente que o método divino mudou, pois Cristo, o novo sumo sacerdote que veio da ordem de Melquisedeque,

Y aun más manifiesto es, si á semejanza de Melchîsedec se levanta otro sacerdote,

And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,

This is yet more abundantly evident, if after the likeness of Melchizedek there arises another priest,

não se tornou sacerdote satisfazendo a antiga exigência de pertencer à tribo de Levi, mas de acordo com o poder que deriva de uma vida que não pode acabar.

El cual no es hecho conforme á la ley del mandamiento carnal, sino según la virtud de vida indisoluble;

Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

who has been made, not after the law of a fleshly commandment, but after the power of an endless life;

Porque as Escrituras falam o seguinte a respeito dele: “Você é para sempre sacerdote da ordem de Melquisedeque”.

Pues se da testimonio de él: Tú eres sacerdote para siempre, según el orden de Melchîsedec.

For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

for it is testified, “You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.”

Assim, o antigo sistema de sacerdócio baseado no parentesco foi cancelado, porque era fraco e inútil para salvar o povo.

El mandamiento precedente, cierto se abroga por su flaqueza é inutilidad;

For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

For there is an annulling of a foregoing commandment because of its weakness and uselessness

A Lei nunca tornou ninguém realmente justo para com Deus. Agora, porém, temos uma esperança superior, pela qual podemos aproximar-nos dele.

Porque nada perfeccionó la ley; mas hízolo la introducción de mejor esperanza, por la cual nos acercamos á Dios.

For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

(for the law made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

Deus fez um juramento de que Cristo seria sempre sacerdote, embora nunca tivesse dito isso de outros sacerdotes.

Y por cuanto no fué sin juramento,

And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:

Inasmuch as he was not made priest without the taking of an oath

Houve juramento quando ele se tornou sacerdote, pois Deus disse: “O Senhor jurou e nunca mudará de ideia: Você é sacerdote para sempre”.

(Porque los otros cierto sin juramento fueron hechos sacerdotes; mas éste, con juramento por el que le dijo: Juró el Señor, y no se arrepentirá: Tú eres sacerdote eternamente según el orden de Melchîsedec:)

(For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)

(for they indeed have been made priests without an oath), but he with an oath by him that says of him, “The Lord swore and will not change his mind, ‘You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.’”

Devido ao juramento de Deus, Jesus é a garantia de uma aliança superior.

Tanto de mejor testamento es hecho fiador Jesús.

By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.

By so much, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.

No sistema antigo era preciso haver muitos sacerdotes, a fim de que quando os mais velhos morressem, o sistema ainda pudesse continuar com os outros que ocupavam o lugar deles.

Y los otros cierto fueron muchos sacerdotes, en cuanto por la muerte no podían permanecer.

And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:

Many, indeed, have been made priests, because they are hindered from continuing by death.

Mas Jesus vive para sempre e continua a ser sacerdote, de modo que o seu sacerdócio é permanente.

Mas éste, por cuanto permanece para siempre, tiene un sacerdocio inmutable:

But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

But he, because he lives forever, has his priesthood unchangeable.

Ele pode salvar completamente todos quantos vão a Deus por meio dele. Uma vez que viverá eternamente, estará sempre ali intercedendo em favor deles.

Por lo cual puede también salvar eternamente á los que por él se allegan á Dios, viviendo siempre para interceder por ellos.

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.

Portanto, ele é exatamente o tipo de sumo sacerdote que nós necessitamos; pois é santo e irrepreensível; não foi manchado pelo pecado, foi separado dos pecadores e foi exaltado nos céus.

Porque tal pontífice nos convenía: santo, inocente, limpio, apartado de los pecadores, y hecho más sublime que los cielos;

For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

For such a high priest was fitting for us: holy, guiltless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

Ele não precisa oferecer sacrifícios diários de sangue de animais, como os outros sacerdotes, para cobrir primeiro os seus próprios pecados e depois os pecados do povo; porque ele acabou com todos os sacrifícios, de uma vez por todas, quando se ofereceu a si próprio.

Que no tiene necesidad cada día, como los otros sacerdotes, de ofrecer primero sacrificios por sus pecados, y luego por los del pueblo: porque esto lo hizo una sola vez, ofreciéndose á sí mismo.

Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

who doesn’t need, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices daily, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people. For he did this once for all, when he offered up himself.

No sistema antigo, mesmo os sumos sacerdotes eram homens fracos e pecadores que não podiam evitar praticar o mal, porém mais tarde Deus, por seu juramento, nomeou seu Filho, que é perfeito para sempre.

Porque la ley constituye sacerdotes á hombres flacos; mas la palabra del juramento, después de la ley, constituye al Hijo, hecho perfecto para siempre.

For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

For the law appoints men as high priests who have weakness, but the word of the oath, which came after the law, appoints a Son forever who has been perfected.
