O sacrifício oferecido por ele é muito melhor do que aqueles oferecidos pelos sacerdotes terrenos. Mas assim mesmo, se ele estivesse aqui na terra, nem seria sumo sacerdote, visto que já existem os sacerdotes que ainda seguem o velho sistema judaico de sacrifícios.

Así que, si estuviese sobre la tierra, ni aun sería sacerdote, habiendo aún los sacerdotes que ofrecen los presentes según la ley;

For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
