TENÍA empero también el primer pacto reglamentos del culto, y santuario mundano.
Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

El santuario se construyó de tal forma que en su primera parte, llamada Lugar Santo, estaban el candelabro, la mesa y los panes sagrados.
Porque el tabernáculo fué hecho: el primero, en que estaban las lámparas, y la mesa, y los panes de la proposición; lo que llaman el Santuario.
For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.
For a tabernacle was prepared. In the first part were the lamp stand, the table, and the show bread, which is called the Holy Place.
Detrás de la segunda cortina estaba la parte llamada Lugar Santísimo,

donde estaba el altar de oro para el incienso y el cofre del pacto que estaba toda recubierta de oro. Dentro del cofre había una jarra de oro que contenía el maná, la vara de Aarón que había retoñado, y las tablas del pacto.
El cual tenía un incensario de oro, y el arca del pacto cubierta de todas partes alrededor de oro; en la que estaba una urna de oro que contenía el maná, y la vara de Aarón que reverdeció, y las tablas del pacto;
Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
having a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which was a golden pot holding the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;
Encima del cofre estaban los querubines de la gloria, que cubrían con su sombra la tapa del cofre. Pero ahora no es necesario hablar de eso con detalles.
Y sobre ella los querubines de gloria que cubrían el propiciatorio; de las cuales cosas no se puede ahora hablar en particular.
And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we can not now speak particularly.

Con todo esto dispuesto así, los sacerdotes entran continuamente en la primera parte del santuario para celebrar el culto.
Y estas cosas así ordenadas, en el primer tabernáculo siempre entraban los sacerdotes para hacer los oficios del culto;
Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

Pero en la segunda parte entra únicamente el sumo sacerdote, y sólo una vez al año. Siempre que entra lleva la sangre que ofrece por los pecados que cometen, sin darse cuenta, él y el pueblo.
Mas en el segundo, sólo el pontífice una vez en el año, no sin sangre, la cual ofrece por sí mismo, y por los pecados de ignorancia del pueblo:
But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

Con esto el Espíritu Santo da a entender que, mientras exista el primer santuario, todavía no se había dado a conocer el camino que conduce al Lugar Santísimo.
Dando en esto á entender el Espíritu Santo, que aun no estaba descubierto el camino para el santuario, entre tanto que el primer tabernáculo estuviese en pie.
The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
The Holy Spirit is indicating this, that the way into the Holy Place wasn’t yet revealed while the first tabernacle was still standing.
Esto nos muestra hoy en día que las ofrendas y los sacrificios que allí se ofrecen no tienen ningún poder para hacer perfecta la conciencia de los que celebran ese culto.
Lo cual era figura de aquel tiempo presente, en el cual se ofrecían presentes y sacrificios que no podían hacer perfecto, cuanto á la conciencia, al que servía con ellos;
Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
This is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshiper perfect,
Estas son únicamente reglas que tienen que ver con alimentos, bebidas y diversas ceremonias de purificación, que sólo tienen vigencia hasta que llegue el tiempo de reformarlo todo.
Consistiendo sólo en viandas y en bebidas, y en diversos lavamientos, y ordenanzas acerca de la carne, impuestas hasta el tiempo de la corrección.
Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

Pero Cristo ya vino, y él es el sumo sacerdote de los bienes definitivos. Es sumo sacerdote en un santuario que es el mejor y es perfecto, que no está hecho por manos humanas, es decir, que no es de este mundo.
Mas estando ya presente Cristo, pontífice de los bienes que habían de venir, por el más amplio y más perfecto tabernáculo, no hecho de manos, es á saber, no de esta creación;

Él entró una sola vez y para siempre al Lugar Santísimo. No entró con sangre de chivos y becerros, sino con su propia sangre, logrando así un rescate eterno.
Y no por sangre de machos cabríos ni de becerros, mas por su propia sangre, entró una sola vez en el santuario, habiendo obtenido eterna redención.

La sangre de chivos y toros, y las cenizas de una becerra rociadas sobre personas que están impuras, las hacen puras de modo que quedan limpias por fuera.

Por eso, Cristo es mediador de un nuevo pacto. Por medio de su muerte, los llamados recibirán la herencia eterna que se les ha prometido, y serán liberados de los pecados que han cometido.
Así que, por eso es mediador del nuevo testamento, para que interviniendo muerte para la remisión de las rebeliones que había bajo del primer testamento, los que son llamados reciban la promesa de la herencia eterna.
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, since a death has occurred for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, that those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
Ahora bien, en el caso de un testamento, es necesario comprobar la muerte del que lo hizo,
Porque donde hay testamento, necesario es que intervenga muerte del testador.
For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

pues un testamento sólo tiene valor cuando la persona que lo hizo haya muerto. Mientras esa persona esté viva no tendrá ningún valor.
Porque el testamento con la muerte es confirmado; de otra manera no es válido entre tanto que el testador vive.
For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
For a will is in force where there has been death, for it is never in force while he who made it lives.
Por eso, ni siquiera el primer pacto se estableció sin sangre.
De donde vino que ni aun el primero fué consagrado sin sangre.
Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
Therefore even the first covenant has not been dedicated without blood.
Moisés, después de anunciar a todo el pueblo los mandamientos de la ley, tomó lana roja y ramas de hisopo, las mojó con la sangre de los becerros y los chivos mezclada con agua, y con eso roció el libro de la ley y a todo el pueblo.

Y mientras los rociaba, decía: «Esta es la sangre del pacto que Dios les ha ordenado a ustedes cumplir».
Diciendo: Esta es la sangre del testamento que Dios os ha mandado.
Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God hath enjoined unto you.

De la misma manera, roció con la sangre el santuario y todos los objetos que se usaban en el culto.
Y además de esto roció también con la sangre el tabernáculo y todos los vasos del ministerio.
Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.
He sprinkled the tabernacle and all the vessels of the ministry in the same way with the blood.
La ley exige que casi todo sea purificado con sangre, pues si no hay derramamiento de sangre no hay perdón.
Y casi todo es purificado según la ley con sangre; y sin derramamiento de sangre no se hace remisión.
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Por tanto, era necesario purificar, con esos sacrificios, las copias de lo que hay en el cielo; pero las cosas celestiales mismas necesitan sacrificios mejores que esos.
Fué, pues, necesario que las figuras de las cosas celestiales fuesen purificadas con estas cosas; empero las mismas cosas celestiales con mejores sacrificios que éstos.
It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

Por eso, Cristo no entró en un santuario hecho por seres humanos, que era una simple copia del verdadero santuario. Entró más bien, en el cielo mismo, para presentarse ante Dios a favor nuestro.
Porque no entró Cristo en el santuario hecho de mano, figura del verdadero, sino en el mismo cielo para presentarse ahora por nosotros en la presencia de Dios.
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:
For Christ hasn’t entered into holy places made with hands, which are representations of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;
Tampoco entró en el cielo para ofrecerse muchas veces, como entra el sumo sacerdote en el Lugar Santísimo cada año con sangre que no es la suya.
Y no para ofrecerse muchas veces á sí mismo, como entra el pontífice en el santuario cada año con sangre ajena;
Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;
nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place year by year with blood not his own,
Si así hubiera sido, Cristo habría tenido que sufrir muchas veces desde que el mundo fue creado. Pero ahora, al final de los tiempos, se ha ofrecido una sola vez y para siempre para acabar con el pecado por medio de su propio sacrificio.
De otra manera fuera necesario que hubiera padecido muchas veces desde el principio del mundo: mas ahora una vez en la consumación de los siglos, para deshacimiento del pecado se presentó por el sacrificio de sí mismo.
For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
or else he must have suffered often since the foundation of the world. But now once at the end of the ages, he has been revealed to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
Y como está establecido que los seres humanos mueran una sola vez y después que venga el juicio,
Y de la manera que está establecido á los hombres que mueran una vez, y después el juicio;
And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment,
así Cristo fue ofrecido una sola vez en sacrificio para quitar los pecados de muchos. Y aparecerá por segunda vez, pero no para cargar con el pecado, sino para salvar a quienes lo esperan.
Así también Cristo fué ofrecido una vez para agotar los pecados de muchos; y la segunda vez, sin pecado, será visto de los que le esperan para salud.
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
