Israel ist ein verwusteter Weinstock; seine Frucht ist eben auch also. Soviel Früchte er hatte, soviel Altare hatte er gemacht. Wo das Land am besten war, da stifteten sie die schonsten Kirchen.
ES Israel una frondosa viña, haciendo fruto para sí: conforme á la multiplicación de su fruto multiplicó altares, conforme á la bondad de su tierra aumentaron sus estatuas.
Israel is an empty vine, he bringeth forth fruit unto himself: according to the multitude of his fruit he hath increased the altars; according to the goodness of his land they have made goodly images.
