An Banden, wie sie für Menschen passen, habe ich sie an mich gezogen, an Seilen der Liebe, und mich so gegen sie verhalten, daß ich das Joch an ihren Kinnbacken hochhob und mich zu ihnen neigte, um ihnen Nahrung zu reichen.

I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.
