Oseas 11

Yo los atraje hacia mí con vínculos propios de hombres, con los vínculos de la caridad; yo fui para ellos como quien les aliviaba el yugo que apretaba sus quijadas, y les presenté qué comer.

Con cuerdas humanas los traje, con cuerdas de amor: y fuí para ellos como los que alzan el yugo de sobre sus mejillas, y llegué hacia él la comida.

I drew them with cords of a man, with bands of love: and I was to them as they that take off the yoke on their jaws, and I laid meat unto them.

I drew them with cords of a man, with ties of love; and I was to them like those who lift up the yoke on their necks; and I bent down to him and I fed him.
