(012-12) Sind sie in Gilead nichtswürdig gewesen, so sollen sie zunichte werden; opferten sie in Gilgal Stiere, so sollen auch ihre Altäre wie Steinhaufen auf den Furchen des Ackers werden!

Y hablado he á los profetas, y yo aumenté la profecía, y por mano de los profetas puse semejanzas.

Is there iniquity in Gilead? surely they are vanity: they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal; yea, their altars are as heaps in the furrows of the fields.

If Gilead is wicked, surely they are worthless. In Gilgal they sacrifice bulls. Indeed, their altars are like heaps in the furrows of the field.
