Hubo un tiempo cuando Israel hablaba y las naciones temblaban de miedo, pues él era un pueblo poderoso; pero luego se hizo devoto de Baal, y así se acarreó la desgracia y fue destruido.

CUANDO Ephraim hablaba, hubo temor; fué ensalzado en Israel; mas pecó en Baal, y murió.

When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died.
