Oseas 13

Dès qu'Ephraïm parlait, on tremblait ; il s'éleva en Israël et se rendit coupable par Baal, et il mourut.

CUANDO Ephraim hablaba, hubo temor; fué ensalzado en Israel; mas pecó en Baal, y murió.

When Ephraim spake trembling, he exalted himself in Israel; but when he offended in Baal, he died.

Et maintenant ils continuent à pécher, ils ont fait de leur argent une statue de fonte et fabriqué des idoles selon leur idée : tout cela, œuvre d'artisan. On dit d'eux : Des gens qui sacrifient des hommes et embrassent des veaux !

Y ahora añadieron á su pecado, y de su plata se han hecho según su entendimiento, estatuas de fundición, ídolos, toda obra de artífices; acerca de los cuales dicen á los hombres que sacrifican, que besen los becerros.

C'est pourquoi ils seront comme une nuée du matin et comme la rosée qui bientôt se dissipe, comme la balle que le vent chasse de l'aire et comme la fumée qui s'en va par la fenêtre.

Por tanto serán como la niebla de la mañana, y como el rocío de la madrugada que se pasa; como el tamo que la tempestad arroja de la era, y como el humo que de la chimenea sale.

Quand ils ont eu de la pâture, ils se sont rassasiés ; une fois rassasiés, leur cœur s'est élevé. C'est ainsi qu'ils m'ont oublié.

En sus pastos se hartaron, hartáronse, y ensoberbecióse su corazón: por esta causa se olvidaron de mí.

Je suis pour eux comme un lion, je les guetterai au bord du chemin comme une panthère.

Où est ton roi ? où est-il, pour qu'il te sauve dans toutes tes villes, et où sont tes juges, dont tu as dit : Donne-moi un roi et des princes ?

¿Dónde está tu rey, para que te guarde con todas tus ciudades? ¿y tus jueces, de los cuales dijiste: Dame rey y príncipes?

I will be thy king: where is any other that may save thee in all thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and princes?

Je te donne un roi dans ma colère, je te le prends dans ma fureur.

L'iniquité d'Ephraïm est liée, son péché gardé.

Le travail d'enfantement vient pour lui ; c'est un enfant qui n'est pas sage ; le moment venu, il ne se présente pas pour naître.

Dolores de mujer de parto le vendrán: es un hijo ignorante, que de otra manera no estuviera tanto tiempo en el rompimiento de los hijos.

...Que je les rachète de la puissance du sépulcre ? Que je les arrache à la mort ? Que je sois ta peste, ô mort ? Que je sois ta ruine, ô sépulcre ?... Le repentir est caché à mes yeux.

De la mano del sepulcro los redimiré, librarélos de la muerte. Oh muerte, yo seré tu muerte; y seré tu destrucción, oh sepulcro; arrepentimiento será escondido de mis ojos.

I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

Quand il fructifie au milieu de ses frères, le vent d'orient se lève, le souffle de l'Eternel monte du désert : ses sources se dessécheront, ses fontaines tariront. On pillera les amas de tous les objets précieux.

Aunque él fructificará entre los hermanos, vendrá el solano, viento de Jehová, subiendo de la parte del desierto, y secarse ha su vena, y secaráse su manadero: él saqueará el tesoro de todas las preciosas alhajas.

Though he be fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasure of all pleasant vessels.

Though he is fruitful among his brothers, an east wind will come, the breath of the LORD coming up from the wilderness; and his spring will become dry, and his fountain will be dried up. He will plunder the storehouse of treasure.

Samarie sera condamnée, parce qu'elle s'est révoltée contre son Dieu. Ils tomberont, frappés par l'épée ; leurs petits enfants seront écrasés, leurs femmes enceintes seront éventrées.

Samaria será asolada, porque se rebeló contra su Dios: caerán á cuchillo: sus niños serán estrellados, y sus preñadas serán abiertas.

Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.

Samaria will bear her guilt, for she has rebelled against her God. They will fall by the sword. Their infants will be dashed in pieces, and their pregnant women will be ripped open.”
