(14:2) Return, O Israel, even unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast stumbled through thy iniquity.
CONVIÉRTETE, oh Israel, á Jehová tu Dios: porque por tu pecado has caído.
O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
Israel, return to the LORD your God; for you have fallen because of your sin.
(14:3) Take with you swords, and return to the Lord: say unto him, "Pardon all our iniquity, and accept our return to good; and let us repay the steers of sacrifice with the prayer of our lips.
Tomad con vosotros palabras, y convertíos á Jehová, y decidle: Quita toda iniquidad, y acepta el bien, y daremos becerros de nuestros labios.
Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.
Take words with you, and return to the LORD. Tell him, “Forgive all our sins, and accept that which is good; so we offer bulls as we vowed of our lips.
(14:4) Asshur shall not help us; upon horses will we not ride: and we will no more say, Ye are our gods, to the work of our hands; for in thee alone the fatherless obtaineth mercy."
No nos librará Assur; no subiremos sobre caballos, ni nunca más diremos á la obra de nuestras manos: Dioses nuestros: porque en ti el huérfano alcanzará misericordia.
Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
Assyria can’t save us. We won’t ride on horses; neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, ‘Our gods!’ for in you the fatherless finds mercy.”
(14:5) I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from them.
Yo medicinaré su rebelión, amarélos de voluntad: porque mi furor se apartó de ellos.
I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
“I will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from them.
(14:6) I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall bloom as the lily; and he shall strike his roots as the forests of Lebanon.
Yo seré á Israel como rocío; él florecerá como lirio, y extenderá sus raíces como el Líbano.
I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
I will be like the dew to Israel. He will blossom like the lily, and send down his roots like Lebanon.
(14:7) His suckers shall spread out, and his beauty shall be as that of the olivetree, and his smell as that of the Lebanon.
Extenderse han sus ramos, y será su gloria como la de la oliva, y olerá como el Líbano.
His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.
His branches will spread, and his beauty will be like the olive tree, and his fragrance like Lebanon.
(14:8) They shall return that sat under his shade; they shall revive as corn, and bloom as the vine: the scent of which shall be as that of the wine of Lebanon.
Volverán, y se sentarán bajo de su sombra: serán vivificados como trigo, y florecerán como la vid: su olor, como de vino del Líbano.
They that dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the corn, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
Men will dwell in his shade. They will revive like the grain, and blossom like the vine. Their fragrance will be like the wine of Lebanon.
(14:9) Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have answered, and will observe him; I will be to him like a green firtree; through me is thy fruit found.
Ephraim dirá: ¿Qué más tendré ya con los ídolos? Yo lo oiré, y miraré; yo seré á él como la haya verde: de mí será hallado tu fruto.
Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is thy fruit found.
Ephraim, what have I to do any more with idols? I answer, and will take care of him. I am like a green cypress tree; from me your fruit is found.”
(14:10) Who is wise, that he may understand these things? intelligent, that he may know them? for righteous are the ways of the Lord; and the just shall walk in them; but the transgressors will stumble through them.
¿Quién es sabio para que entienda esto, y prudente para que lo sepa? Porque los caminos de Jehová son derechos, y los justos andarán por ellos: mas los rebeldes en ellos caerán.
Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who is prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of the LORD are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.
