DECID á vuestros hermanos, Ammi, y á vuestras hermanas, Ruhama:
Say ye unto your brethren, Ammi; and to your sisters, Ru-hamah.
“Say to your brothers, ‘My people!’ and to your sisters, ‘My loved one!’
Acusad a vuestra madre, acusadla; porque ya no es mi esposa, ni yo soy su esposo. Aparte de sí sus prostituciones, o idolatrías, y arroje de su seno los adulterios.
Pleitead con vuestra madre, pleitead; porque ella no es mi mujer, ni yo su marido; quite pues sus fornicaciones de su rostro, y sus adulterios de entre sus pechos;
Plead with your mother, plead: for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband: let her therefore put away her whoredoms out of her sight, and her adulteries from between her breasts;
Contend with your mother! Contend, for she is not my wife, neither am I her husband; and let her put away her prostitution from her face, and her adulteries from between her breasts;
No sea que yo la despoje y desnude, y la ponga tal como en el día que nació, y la deje hecha una soledad, y como una tierra inhabitable, y la reduzca a morir de sed.

And I will not have mercy upon her children; for they be the children of whoredoms.
Indeed, on her children I will have no mercy, for they are children of unfaithfulness.
Puesto que la madre de ellos, la nación, es una adúltera, ha quedado deshonrada la que los tuvo. Pues ella dijo: Iré en pos de mis amantes, los ídolos, que son los que me dan mi pan y mi agua, mi lana, mi lino, mi aceite y mi bebida.
Porque su madre fornicó; la que los engendró fué avergonzada; porque dijo: Iré tras mis amantes, que me dan mi pan y mi agua, mi lana y mi lino, mi aceite y mi bebida.
For their mother hath played the harlot: she that conceived them hath done shamefully: for she said, I will go after my lovers, that give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, mine oil and my drink.

(Por lo cual he aquí que yo le cerraré la salida con un seto de espinos, la cerraré con una pared, y ella no hallará paso.
Por tanto, he aquí yo cerco tu camino con espinas, y la cercaré con seto, y no hallará sus caminos.
Therefore, behold, I will hedge up thy way with thorns, and make a wall, that she shall not find her paths.

E irá en pos de sus amantes, y no los encontrará, los buscará y no los hallará; y dirá: Iré, y volveré a mi primer esposo, pues mejor me iba entonces que ahora).
Y seguirá sus amantes, y no los alcanzará; buscarálos, y no los hallará. Entonces dirá: Iré, y volveréme á mi primer marido; porque mejor me iba entonces que ahora.
And she shall follow after her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them: then shall she say, I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now.

Y no sabía ella que fui yo, y no los ídolos, quien le dio el trigo, y el vino, y el aceite, y el que le dio la abundancia de plata y de oro que ofrecieron a Baal.
Y ella no reconoció que yo le daba el trigo, y el vino, y el aceite, y que les multipliqué la plata y el oro con que hicieron á Baal.
For she did not know that I gave her corn, and wine, and oil, and multiplied her silver and gold, which they prepared for Baal.

Por esto yo me portaré de otro modo, y a su tiempo recogeré mi trigo y mi vino, y quitaré de sus manos mis lanas y mis linos, que cubren sus vergüenzas.
Por tanto yo tornaré, y tomaré mi trigo á su tiempo, y mi vino á su sazón, y quitaré mi lana y mi lino que había dado para cubrir su desnudez.
Therefore will I return, and take away my corn in the time thereof, and my wine in the season thereof, and will recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness.
Therefore I will take back my grain in its time, and my new wine in its season, and will pluck away my wool and my flax which should have covered her nakedness.
Y ahora manifestaré su necedad a los ojos de sus mismos amadores, y nadie la liberará de mis manos;
Y ahora descubriré yo su locura delante de los ojos de sus amantes, y nadie la librará de mi mano.
And now will I discover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand.

y haré cesar todos sus regocijos, sus solemnidades, sus neomenías, sus sábados y todos sus días festivos;
Y haré cesar todo su gozo, sus fiestas, sus nuevas lunas y sus sábados, y todas sus festividades.
I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.
I will also cause all her celebrations to cease: her feasts, her new moons, her Sabbaths, and all her solemn assemblies.
y destruiré sus viñas y sus higueras, de las cuales dijo ella: Estos son los galardones que me dieron mis amantes; y yo la convertiré en un matorral, y la devorarán las fieras del campo.
Y haré talar sus vides y sus higueras, de que ha dicho: Mi salario me son, que me han dado mis amantes. Y reducirélas á un matorral, y las comerán las bestias del campo.
And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.
I will lay waste her vines and her fig trees, about which she has said, ‘These are my wages that my lovers have given me,’ and I will make them a forest, and the animals of the field shall eat them.
Y ejerceré en ella mi venganza por los días que sirvió a Baalim, en los cuales le ofrecía incienso, y se ataviaba con sus zarcillos y con sus galas, e iba en pos de sus amantes, y se olvidaba de mí, dice el Señor.
Y visitaré sobre ella los tiempos de los Baales, á los cuales incensaba, y adornábase de sus zarcillos y de sus joyeles, é íbase tras sus amantes olvidada de mí, dice Jehová.
And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.
I will visit on her the days of the Baals, to which she burned incense when she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and went after her lovers and forgot me,” says the LORD.
Pero con todo, después yo la acariciaré, y la llevaré a la soledad, y le hablaré al corazón.

Therefore, behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her.

Le daré viñadores de su mismo lugar, y el valle de Acor, para que entre en esperanza; y allí cantará himnos a su Dios como en los días de su juventud, como en los días en que salió de la tierra de Egipto.
Y daréle sus viñas desde allí, y el valle de Achôr por puerta de esperanza; y allí cantará como en los tiempos de su juventud, y como en el día de su subida de la tierra de Egipto.
And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.

Y aquel será el día, dice el Señor, en que ella me llamará esposo suyo; y no me llamará más Baalí.
Y será que en aquel tiempo, dice Jehová, me llamarás Marido mío, y nunca más me llamarás Baali.
And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali.
It will be in that day,” says the LORD, “that you will call me ‘my husband,’ and no longer call me ‘my master.’
Y quitaré de su boca los nombres de Baalim, y no volverá a acordarse más de los nombres de los ídolos.
Porque quitaré de su boca los nombres de los Baales, y nunca más serán mentados por sus nombres.
For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name.

Y en aquel día pondré yo paz entre ellos, y las bestias del campo, y las aves del cielo, y los reptiles de la tierra; y quebrantaré en el país los arcos y las espadas, y haré cesar las guerras, y que ellos duerman con toda seguridad.
Y haré por ellos concierto en aquel tiempo con las bestias del campo, y con las aves del cielo, y con las serpientes de la tierra: y quebraré arco, y espada, y batalla de la tierra, y harélos dormir seguros.
And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely.

Y te desposaré conmigo para siempre y te desposaré conmigo mediante la justicia o santidad y el juicio, y mediante la misericordia y la clemencia.
Y te desposaré conmigo para siempre; desposarte he conmigo en justicia, y juicio, y misericordia, y miseraciones.
And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
I will betroth you to me forever. Yes, I will betroth you to me in righteousness, in justice, in loving kindness, and in compassion.
Y te desposaré conmigo mediante la fe, y conocerás que yo soy el Señor.
Y te desposaré conmigo en fe, y conocerás á Jehová.
I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.
I will even betroth you to me in faithfulness; and you shall know the LORD.
Entonces será, dice el Señor, cuando yo escucharé benigno a los cielos, y éstos escucharán a la tierra.
Y será que en aquel tiempo responderé, dice Jehová, yo responderé á los cielos, y ellos responderán á la tierra;
And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth;
It will happen in that day, that I will respond,” says the LORD. “I will respond to the heavens, and they will respond to the earth;
Y la tierra atenderá a dar el grano, y el vino, y el aceite; y estas cosas atenderán o consolarán a Jezrael.
Y la tierra responderá al trigo, y al vino, y al aceite, y ellos responderán á Jezreel.
And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel.
and the earth will respond to the grain, and the new wine, and the oil; and they will respond to Jezreel.
Y la sembraré yo para mí como preciosa simiente sobre la tierra, porque me apiadaré de aquella nación que fue llamada: No más misericordia. Y al que dije que no era mi pueblo, le diré: Pueblo mío eres tú; y él dirá: Tú eres mi Dios.
Y sembraréla para mí en la tierra, y tendré misericordia de Lo-ruhama: y diré á Lo-ammi: Pueblo mío tú; y él dirá: Dios mío.
And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.
I will sow her to me in the earth; and I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; and I will tell those who were not my people, ‘You are my people;’ and they will say, ‘You are My God!’”
