Ouçam a palavra do Senhor, israelitas. O Senhor tem uma acusação contra vocês que vivem nesta terra: “Não há fidelidade, nem amor, nem conhecimento de Deus nesta terra.
OID palabra de Jehová, hijos de Israel, porque Jehová pleitea con los moradores de la tierra; porque no hay verdad, ni misericordia, ni conocimiento de Dios en la tierra.
Hear the word of the LORD, ye children of Israel: for the LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
Hear the LORD’s word, you children of Israel, for the LORD has a charge against the inhabitants of the land: “Indeed there is no truth, nor goodness, nor knowledge of God in the land.
Vocês todos juram falsamente, mentem, matam, roubam e cometem adultério. Em toda parte há violência, com um assassinato atrás do outro.
Perjurar, y mentir, y matar, y hurtar y adulterar prevalecieron, y sangres se tocaron con sangres.
By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
There is cursing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break boundaries, and bloodshed causes bloodshed.
“Por isso a sua terra não está produzindo nada. Ela está cheia de tristeza, e todos os animais que existem em Israel adoecem e morrem. O gado, os pássaros do céu e até mesmo os peixes estão morrendo.
Por lo cual, se enlutará la tierra, y extenuaráse todo morador de ella, con las bestias del campo, y las aves del cielo: y aun los peces de la mar fallecerán.
Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
Therefore the land will mourn, and everyone who dwells in it will waste away, with all living things in her, even the animals of the field and the birds of the sky; yes, the fish of the sea also die.
“Ninguém deve apontar para outra pessoa, tentando jogar sua própria culpa sobre ela! Você, sacerdote, é a você que estou acusando!
Ciertamente hombre no contienda ni reprenda á hombre, porque tu pueblo es como los que resisten al sacerdote.
Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that strive with the priest.
“Yet let no man bring a charge, neither let any man accuse; for your people are like those who bring charges against a priest.
Como castigo dos seus crimes, vocês, sacerdotes, tropeçarão em dia claro e à noite. Os falsos ‘profetas’ que vocês arranjaram tropeçarão também. E eu vou destruir Israel, a mãe de vocês.
Caerás por tanto en el día, y caerá también contigo el profeta de noche; y á tu madre talaré.
Therefore shalt thou fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother.

O meu povo é destruído porque não me conhece, e a culpa é de vocês, sacerdotes, porque se recusam a me conhecer. Por isso eu não os reconhecerei como sacerdotes; já que se esqueceram da lei do seu Deus, eu também ignorarei seus filhos.
Mi pueblo fué talado, porque le faltó sabiduría. Porque tú desechaste la sabiduría, yo te echaré del sacerdocio: y pues que olvidaste la ley de tu Dios, también yo me olvidaré de tus hijos.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Quanto maior o número de sacerdotes, mais eles pecaram contra mim. Trocaram a glória de Deus pela vergonha dos ídolos.
Conforme á su grandeza así pecaron contra mí: trocaré su honra en afrenta.

“Os sacerdotes vibram de alegria com os pecados do povo. Eles se alimentam com isso e estão sempre com fome, pedindo mais!
Comen del pecado de mi pueblo, y en su maldad levantan su alma.
They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their iniquity.
They feed on the sin of my people, and set their heart on their iniquity.
E assim é: ‘Tal sacerdote, tal povo’ — os sacerdotes são perversos, e por isso o povo é perverso. Por isso, castigarei os sacerdotes e o povo por causa de sua maldade.
Tal será el pueblo como el sacerdote: y visitaré sobre él sus caminos, y pagaréle conforme á sus obras.
And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.
It will be like people, like priest; and I will punish them for their ways, and will repay them for their deeds.
Comerão bastante, mas sentirão fome. Ganharão muito dinheiro com a prostituição, mas não terão filhos porque abandonaram o Senhor e adoraram outros deuses.
Y comerán, mas no se hartarán; fornicarán, mas no se aumentarán: porque dejaron de atender á Jehová.
For they shall eat, and not have enough: they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: because they have left off to take heed to the LORD.

“O vinho, a prostituição e as orgias acabaram com o discernimento do meu povo.
Fornicación, y vino, y mosto quitan el corazón.
Whoredom and wine and new wine take away the heart.

Eles pedem a um pedaço de pau que lhes ensine o que fazer, e fazem perguntas a uma coluna de madeira para saber o futuro. Como uma mulher que se torna prostituta, eles me abandonaram e se tornaram infiéis ao seu Deus.
Mi pueblo á su madero pregunta, y su palo le responde: porque espíritu de fornicaciones lo engañó, y fornicaron debajo de sus dioses.
My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God.
My people consult with their wooden idol, and answer to a stick of wood. Indeed the spirit of prostitution has led them astray, and they have been unfaithful to their God.
Fazem sacrifícios aos ídolos no alto dos montes de Israel; lá, eles queimam incenso, na sombra gostosa dos carvalhos, dos choupos e outras árvores. Lá as moças de Israel, as filhas e noivas dos israelitas, se tornam prostitutas e adúlteras.
Sobre las cabezas de los montes sacrificaron, é incensaron sobre los collados, debajo de encinas, y álamos, y olmos que tuviesen buena sombra: por tanto, vuestras hijas fornicarán, y adulterarán vuestras nueras.

“E vocês acham que eu não devia castigar suas filhas por se prostituírem nem suas noras por adulterarem? Pois vocês, homens, estão fazendo a mesma coisa, pecando com prostitutas de rua e com as dos santuários. Tolos! O julgamento de vocês já está decretado, porque é um povo sem entendimento.

I will not punish your daughters when they commit whoredom, nor your spouses when they commit adultery: for themselves are separated with whores, and they sacrifice with harlots: therefore the people that doth not understand shall fall.
I will not punish your daughters when they play the prostitute, nor your brides when they commit adultery; because the men consort with prostitutes, and they sacrifice with the shrine prostitutes; so the people without understanding will come to ruin.
“Mesmo que Israel adultere, você, Judá, não caia nesse mesmo pecado. Não se ajunte com esses que me adoram falsamente em Gilgal e em Betel. Sua adoração é fingida.

Though thou, Israel, play the harlot, yet let not Judah offend; and come not ye unto Gilgal, neither go ye up to Beth-aven, nor swear, The LORD liveth.

Ó Judá, não seja como Israel, rebelde como uma bezerra indomável. Tão rebelde que não deixou o Senhor levá-lo a pastos verdes.
Porque como becerra cerrera se apartó Israel: ¿apacentarálos ahora Jehová como á carneros en anchura?
For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large place.
For Israel has behaved extremely stubbornly, like a stubborn heifer. Then how will the LORD feed them like a lamb in a meadow?
Israel se entregou à adoração de ídolos; deixem-no só.
Ephraim es dado á ídolos; déjalo.
Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone.
Ephraim is joined to idols. Leave him alone!
“Os homens de Israel bebem muito, e, quando ficam bêbados, saem atrás das prostitutas. Eles amam a vergonha mais que a honra.
Su bebida se corrompió; fornicaron pertinazmente: sus príncipes amaron las dádivas, afrenta de ellos.
Their drink is sour: they have committed whoredom continually: her rulers with shame do love, Give ye.
Their drink has become sour. They play the prostitute continually. Her rulers dearly love their shameful way.
Por isso, um forte vento os arrastará para longe de sua terra; e sentirão vergonha da sua idolatria”.
Atóla el viento en sus alas, y de sus sacrificios serán avergonzados.
The wind hath bound her up in her wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices.
