1Vinde, e voltemo-nos ao SENHOR; porque ele despedaçou, mas nos curará; ele feriu, mas nos porá curativo.
2Depois de dois dias ele nos dará vida; ao terceiro dia nos ressuscitará, e diante dele viveremos.
3Conheçamos, e prossigamos em conhecer ao SENHOR; sua vinda está preparada como o nascer do sol; ele virá a nós como a chuva, como a chuva da primavera, que rega a terra.
4Que farei a ti, ó Efraim? Que farei a ti, ó Judá? Vossa bondade é como a neblina da manhã, como o orvalho da madrugada, que logo desaparece.
5Por isso eu os cortei com os profetas; pelas palavras de minha boca os matei; e teus juízos sairão como a luz.
6Pois eu quero misericórdia, e não sacrifício; e conhecimento de Deus mais do que holocaustos.
7Porém eles, assim como Adão, transgrediram o pacto; ali agiram traiçoeiramente contra mim.
8Gileade é a cidade dos que praticam a injustiça; manchada está de sangue.
9Tal como um bando de assaltantes à espera de um homem, assim é o grupo de sacerdotes; matam no caminho para Siquém; eles praticam abominações.
10Na casa de Israel tenho visto coisa detestável; ali Efraim se prostitui, Israel se contamina.
11Também para ti, ó Judá, há uma ceifa, quando eu restaurar o meu povo de seu infortúnio.

1VENID y volvámonos á Jehová: que él arrebató, y nos curará; hirió, y nos vendará.
2Darános vida después de dos días: al tercer día nos resucitará, y viviremos delante de él.
3Y conoceremos, y proseguiremos en conocer á Jehová: como el alba está aparejada su salida, y vendrá á nosotros como la lluvia, como la lluvia tardía y temprana á la tierra.
4¿Qué haré á ti, Ephraim? ¿Qué haré á ti, oh Judá? La piedad vuestra es como la nube de la mañana, y como el rocío que de madrugada viene.
5Por esta causa corté con los profetas, con las palabras de mi boca los maté; y tus juicios serán como luz que sale.
6Porque misericordia quise, y no sacrificio; y conocimiento de Dios más que holocaustos.
7Mas ellos, cual Adam, traspasaron el pacto: allí prevaricaron contra mí.
8Galaad, ciudad de obradores de iniquidad, ensuciada de sangre.
9Y como ladrones que esperan á algún hombre, así junta de sacerdotes mancomunadamente mata en el camino: porque ponen en efecto la abominación.
10En la casa de Israel he visto suciedad: allí fornicó Ephraim, se contaminó Israel:
11También Judá puso en ti una planta, habiendo yo vuelto la cautividad de mi pueblo.

1Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
2After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
4O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
5Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.
6For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
7But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.
8Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood.
9And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.
10I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
11Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people.

1“Come! Let’s return to the LORD; for he has torn us to pieces, and he will heal us; he has injured us, and he will bind up our wounds.
2After two days he will revive us. On the third day he will raise us up, and we will live before him.
3Let’s acknowledge the LORD. Let’s press on to know the LORD. As surely as the sun rises, the LORD will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.”
4“Ephraim, what shall I do to you? Judah, what shall I do to you? For your love is like a morning cloud, and like the dew that disappears early.
5Therefore I have cut them to pieces with the prophets; I killed them with the words of my mouth. Your judgments are like a flash of lightning.
6For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
7But they, like Adam, have broken the covenant. They were unfaithful to me there.
8Gilead is a city of those who work iniquity; it is stained with blood.
9As gangs of robbers wait to ambush a man, so the company of priests murder on the path toward Shechem, committing shameful crimes.
10In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing. There is prostitution in Ephraim. Israel is defiled.
11“Also, Judah, there is a harvest appointed for you, when I restore the fortunes of my people.
