Ese día los israelitas dirán: «¡Vengan, volvamos al Señor! Él es quien nos ha desgarrado, y él será quien nos sane.
VENID y volvámonos á Jehová: que él arrebató, y nos curará; hirió, y nos vendará.
Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
“Come! Let’s return to the LORD; for he has torn us to pieces, and he will heal us; he has injured us, and he will bind up our wounds.
En tan sólo dos o tres días nos sanará por completo y entonces podremos vivir siempre bajo su protección. ¡No vacilemos en buscar al Señor!
Darános vida después de dos días: al tercer día nos resucitará, y viviremos delante de él.
After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
After two days he will revive us. On the third day he will raise us up, and we will live before him.
¡No nos cansemos de ir en busca del Señor! Si lo hacemos, podemos estar seguros de que él vendrá a nuestro encuentro. Eso es tan seguro como el hecho de que el sol alumbra cada día. Eso será así, tan seguro como el hecho de que la lluvia cae en el tiempo oportuno y riega la tierra».
Y conoceremos, y proseguiremos en conocer á Jehová: como el alba está aparejada su salida, y vendrá á nosotros como la lluvia, como la lluvia tardía y temprana á la tierra.
Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
Let’s acknowledge the LORD. Let’s press on to know the LORD. As surely as the sun rises, the LORD will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.”
El Señor dice: «Efraín y Judá, ¿qué haré con ustedes? Pues su amor hacia mí es tan inconstante, se desvanece tan pronto, como lo hacen las nubes de la mañana y como desaparece como el rocío.
¿Qué haré á ti, Ephraim? ¿Qué haré á ti, oh Judá? La piedad vuestra es como la nube de la mañana, y como el rocío que de madrugada viene.
O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
“Ephraim, what shall I do to you? Judah, what shall I do to you? For your love is like a morning cloud, and like the dew that disappears early.
Yo envié a mis profetas para advertirles del destino funesto que les espera; yo los he herido con la dureza de las palabras que les he enviado, incluso amenazándolos de muerte. Sepan que de repente, sin advertencia alguna, mi juicio realmente los matará como si fuera un rayo fulminante.
Por esta causa corté con los profetas, con las palabras de mi boca los maté; y tus juicios serán como luz que sale.
Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.
Therefore I have cut them to pieces with the prophets; I killed them with the words of my mouth. Your judgments are like a flash of lightning.
Lo que más quiero de ustedes no son sus sacrificios rituales, sino que amen a Dios y a su prójimo; lo que más quiero de ustedes no son sus ofrendas, sino que me reconozcan y respeten como su Dios.
Porque misericordia quise, y no sacrificio; y conocimiento de Dios más que holocaustos.

Sus sacerdotes son como bandas de ladrones, que se esconden para sorprender y caer sobre sus víctimas; en el camino que lleva a Siquén cometen toda clase de maldades.
Y como ladrones que esperan á algún hombre, así junta de sacerdotes mancomunadamente mata en el camino: porque ponen en efecto la abominación.
And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.
As gangs of robbers wait to ambush a man, so the company of priests murder on the path toward Shechem, committing shameful crimes.
»Sí, yo he visto una cosa horrible en Israel: Efraín me ha sido infiel y se ha ido tras la idolatría; Israel se ha corrompido por completo.
En la casa de Israel he visto suciedad: allí fornicó Ephraim, se contaminó Israel:
I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing. There is prostitution in Ephraim. Israel is defiled.
»También para ti, Judá, tengo preparado tu castigo, cuando haya hecho que mi pueblo regrese a su tierra.
También Judá puso en ti una planta, habiendo yo vuelto la cautividad de mi pueblo.
Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people.
