“Ah, precisamos muito conhecer o Senhor! Vamos nos esforçar para conhecê-lo, e ele nos responderá, tão certo quanto a manhã que vem depois da noite ou a chuva que chega com a primavera e rega a terra.
Y conoceremos, y proseguiremos en conocer á Jehová: como el alba está aparejada su salida, y vendrá á nosotros como la lluvia, como la lluvia tardía y temprana á la tierra.
Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
Let’s acknowledge the LORD. Let’s press on to know the LORD. As surely as the sun rises, the LORD will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.”
“Ah, Israel e Judá! O que será que vou fazer com vocês? O seu amor se desmancha como a neblina da manhã e some depressa como o orvalho.
¿Qué haré á ti, Ephraim? ¿Qué haré á ti, oh Judá? La piedad vuestra es como la nube de la mañana, y como el rocío que de madrugada viene.
O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
“Ephraim, what shall I do to you? Judah, what shall I do to you? For your love is like a morning cloud, and like the dew that disappears early.
Mandei meus profetas para avisar vocês do castigo. Condenei todos à morte com as palavras da minha boca, ameaçando de morte. O meu julgamento cairá sobre vocês, tão certo como o dia segue a noite.
