1“¡Vamos! Volvamos al Señor. Él nos ha hecho pedazos, pero ahora nos sanará; nos ha derribado, pero pondrá vendas en nuestras heridas.
2En dos días nos sanará, y después de tres días nos levantará para que podamos vivir en su presencia.
3Conozcamos al Señor; procuremos conocerlo y él se aparecerá frente a nosotros como el sol brillante. Él vendrá a nosotros tan ciertamente como la lluvia de la primavera que riega la tierra”.
4¿Qué hare con Efraín, y Judá? El amor que me profesan desaparece como la niebla al amanecer, y se desvanece como el rocío de la mañana.
5Por eso los he reducido a través de los profetas y los destruí con mis palabras. Mi juicio resplandece como la luz.
6Quiero que me ofrezcan amor verdadero y no sacrificios; quiero que me conozcan, y no que me traigan holocaustos.
7Pero ustedes, como Adán, quebrantaron nuestro acuerdo, y me fueron infieles.
8Gilead es una ciudad de gente malvada, donde se pueden rastrear las huellas de sangre.
9Los sacerdotes son como una cuadrilla de bandidos, esperando a un lado del camino a que pasen los viajeros para tenderles una emboscada. Cometen asesinatos en Siquem, y cometen grandes crímenes.
10He visto algo aborrecible en la casa de Israel: Efraín se ha prostituido e Israel se ha corrompido sexualmente.
11Y en lo que tiene que ver contigo, Judá, ha llegado tu tiempo de cosechar lo que has sembrado. Cuando restaure la fortuna de mi pueblo,

1VENID y volvámonos á Jehová: que él arrebató, y nos curará; hirió, y nos vendará.
2Darános vida después de dos días: al tercer día nos resucitará, y viviremos delante de él.
3Y conoceremos, y proseguiremos en conocer á Jehová: como el alba está aparejada su salida, y vendrá á nosotros como la lluvia, como la lluvia tardía y temprana á la tierra.
4¿Qué haré á ti, Ephraim? ¿Qué haré á ti, oh Judá? La piedad vuestra es como la nube de la mañana, y como el rocío que de madrugada viene.
5Por esta causa corté con los profetas, con las palabras de mi boca los maté; y tus juicios serán como luz que sale.
6Porque misericordia quise, y no sacrificio; y conocimiento de Dios más que holocaustos.
7Mas ellos, cual Adam, traspasaron el pacto: allí prevaricaron contra mí.
8Galaad, ciudad de obradores de iniquidad, ensuciada de sangre.
9Y como ladrones que esperan á algún hombre, así junta de sacerdotes mancomunadamente mata en el camino: porque ponen en efecto la abominación.
10En la casa de Israel he visto suciedad: allí fornicó Ephraim, se contaminó Israel:
11También Judá puso en ti una planta, habiendo yo vuelto la cautividad de mi pueblo.

1Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
2After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
4O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
5Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.
6For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
7But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.
8Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood.
9And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.
10I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
11Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people.

1“Come! Let’s return to the LORD; for he has torn us to pieces, and he will heal us; he has injured us, and he will bind up our wounds.
2After two days he will revive us. On the third day he will raise us up, and we will live before him.
3Let’s acknowledge the LORD. Let’s press on to know the LORD. As surely as the sun rises, the LORD will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.”
4“Ephraim, what shall I do to you? Judah, what shall I do to you? For your love is like a morning cloud, and like the dew that disappears early.
5Therefore I have cut them to pieces with the prophets; I killed them with the words of my mouth. Your judgments are like a flash of lightning.
6For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
7But they, like Adam, have broken the covenant. They were unfaithful to me there.
8Gilead is a city of those who work iniquity; it is stained with blood.
9As gangs of robbers wait to ambush a man, so the company of priests murder on the path toward Shechem, committing shameful crimes.
10In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing. There is prostitution in Ephraim. Israel is defiled.
11“Also, Judah, there is a harvest appointed for you, when I restore the fortunes of my people.
