Israel vergidt seines Schopfers und bauet Kirchen, so macht Juda viel fester Stadte; aber ich will Feuer in seine Stadte schicken, welches soil seine Hauser verzehren.

Olvidó pues Israel á su Hacedor, y edificó templos, y Judá multiplicó ciudades fuertes: mas yo meteré fuego en sus ciudades, el cual devorará sus palacios.

For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.

For Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces; and Judah has multiplied fortified cities; but I will send a fire on his cities, and it will devour its fortresses.”
