Israel ha nombrado reyes y príncipes sin consultarme, que no cuentan con mi aprobación. Han usado su oro y su plata para fabricarse ídolos, los que los llevarán a la destrucción.

Ellos hicieron reyes, mas no por mí; constituyeron príncipes, mas yo no lo supe: de su plata y de su oro hicieron ídolos para sí, para ser talados.
