Malheur à Assur, verge de ma colère ! Le bâton qui est dans sa main est l'instrument de ma fureur ;

Oh Assur, vara y bastón de mi furor: en su mano he puesto mi ira.

O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.

Alas Assyrian, the rod of my anger, the staff in whose hand is my indignation!
