La descendencia real de David será interrumpida, cortada como se hace con un árbol, pero del tronco surgirá un renuevo, una nueva rama de la antigua raíz.
Y SALDRÁ una vara del tronco de Isaí, y un vástago retoñará de sus raíces.
And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
A shoot will come out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots will bear fruit.
Y sobre él reposará el Espíritu del Señor, el Espíritu de sabiduría, entendimiento, consejo y poder; el Espíritu de conocimiento y reverencia por el Señor.
Y reposará sobre él el espíritu de Jehová; espíritu de sabiduría y de inteligencia, espíritu de consejo y de fortaleza, espíritu de conocimiento y de temor de Jehová.
And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Su delicia será obedecer al Señor. No los juzgará por las apariencias, por falsas pruebas o por chismes,
Y harále entender diligente en el temor de Jehová. No juzgará según la vista de sus ojos, ni argüirá por lo que oyeren sus oídos;
And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
His delight will be in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;
sino que defenderá a los pobres y explotados. Regirá contra los malvados que los oprimen.
Sino que juzgará con justicia á los pobres, y argüirá con equidad por los mansos de la tierra: y herirá la tierra con la vara de su boca, y con el espíritu de sus labios matará al impío.
But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Porque estará revestido de equidad y verdad.
Y será la justicia cinto de sus lomos, y la fidelidad ceñidor de sus riñones.
And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
Righteousness will be the belt around his waist, and faithfulness the belt around his waist.
En ese tiempo el lobo y el cordero se echarán juntos, y el leopardo y las cabras estarán en paz. Los becerros y el ganado engordado estarán a salvo entre los leones, y un niñito los pastoreará a todos.
Morará el lobo con el cordero, y el tigre con el cabrito se acostará: el becerro y el león y la bestia doméstica andarán juntos, y un niño los pastoreará.
The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

Las vacas pacerán entre los osos; los cachorros y los terneros se echarán juntos y los leones comerán hierba como hacen las vacas.

And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.

Nada habrá perjudicial ni destructivo en todo mi monte sagrado, pues así como las aguas llenan el mar, de igual modo la tierra estará llena del conocimiento del Señor.

En aquel día, el que creó la dinastía real de David será estandarte de salvación para todo el mundo. Las naciones acudirán a él, pues el sitio en donde viva será un lugar glorioso.
Y acontecerá en aquel tiempo que la raíz de Isaí, la cual estará puesta por pendón á los pueblos, será buscada de las gentes; y su holganza será gloria.
And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Jesse, who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be glorious.
En aquel tiempo el Señor hará volver por segunda vez a los pocos que permanecieron fieles de entre su pueblo, trayéndolos a Israel desde Asiria, el Alto y el Bajo Egipto, Etiopía, Elam, Babilonia, Jamat y todas las lejanas tierras costeras.
Asimismo acontecerá en aquel tiempo, que Jehová tornará á poner otra vez su mano para poseer las reliquias de su pueblo que fueron dejadas de Assur, y de Egipto, y de Parthia, y de Etiopía, y de Persia, y de Caldea, y de Amath, y de las Islas de la mar.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.

Alzará una bandera entre las naciones como señal para que estas se congreguen. De todos los confines de la tierra recogerá a los israelitas dispersos.

Y finalmente acabarán los celos entre Israel y Judá, no pelearán más entre sí,
Y se disipará la envidia de Ephraim, y los enemigos de Judá serán talados. Ephraim no tendrá envidia contra Judá, ni Judá afligirá á Ephraim;

sino que juntos se lanzarán contra las naciones asentadas en su tierra al oriente y al occidente, uniendo sus fuerzas para derrotarlas y ocuparán las naciones de Edom, Moab y Amón.
Mas volarán sobre los hombros de los Filisteos al occidente, meterán también á saco á los de oriente: Edom y Moab les servirán, y los hijos de Ammón les darán obediencia.
