Dies ist die Last uber Babel, die Jesaja, der Sohn Amoz, sah:

Werfet Panier auf auf hohen Bergen, rufet getrost wider sie, werfet die Hand auf, lafit einziehen durch die Tore der Fursten!

Levantad bandera sobre un alto monte; alzad la voz á ellos, alzad la mano, para que entren por puertas de príncipes.

Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

Set up a banner on the bare mountain! Lift up your voice to them! Wave your hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

Ich habe meinen Geheiligten geboten und meinen Starken gerufen zu meinem Zorn, die da frohlich sind in meiner Herrlichkeit.

Yo mandé á mis santificados, asimismo llamé á mis valientes para mi ira, á los que se alegran con mi gloria.

I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

Es ist ein Geschrei einer Menge auf den Bergen wie eines grofien Volks, ein Geschrei als eines Getummels der versammelten Konigreiche der Heiden. Der HERR Zebaoth rustet ein Heer zum Streit,

Murmullo de multitud en los montes, como de mucho pueblo; murmullo de ruido de reinos, de gentes reunidas: Jehová de los ejércitos ordena las tropas de la batalla.

The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.

die aus fernen Landen kommen, vom Ende des Himmels, ja, der HERR selbst samt dem Zeuge seines Zorns, zu verderben das ganze Land.

Vienen de lejana tierra, de lo postrero de los cielos, Jehová y los instrumentos de su furor, para destruir toda la tierra.

Darum werden alle Hande lali, und aller Menschen Herz wird feige sein.

Por tanto, se enervarán todas la manos, y desleiráse todo corazón de hombre:

Schrecken, Angst und Schmerzen wird sie ankommen; es wird ihnen bange sein wie einer Gebarerin; einer wird sich vor dem andern entsetzen; feuerrot werden ihre Angesichte sein.

Y se llenarán de terror; angustias y dolores los comprenderán; tendrán dolores como mujer de parto; pasmaráse cada cual al mirar á su compañero; sus rostros, rostros de llamas.

And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

They will be dismayed. Pangs and sorrows will seize them. They will be in pain like a woman in labor. They will look in amazement one at another. Their faces will be faces of flame.

Denn siehe, des HERRN Tag kommt grausam, zornig, grimmig, das Land zu verstoren und die Sunder daraus zu vertilgen.

He aquí el día de Jehová viene, crudo, y de saña y ardor de ira, para tornar la tierra en soledad, y raer de ella sus pecadores.

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Denn die Sterne am Himmel und sein Orion scheinen nicht helle; die Sonne gehet finster auf, und der Mond scheinet dunkel.

Por lo cual las estrellas de los cielos y sus luceros no derramarán su lumbre; y el sol se oscurecerá en naciendo, y la luna no echará su resplandor.

For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

Ich will den Erdboden heimsuchen urn seiner Bosheit willen und die Gottlosen urn ihrer Untugend willen; und will des Hochmuts der Stolzen ein Ende machen und die Hoffart der Gewaltigen demutigen,

Y visitaré la maldad sobre el mundo, y sobre los impíos su iniquidad; y haré que cese la arrogancia de los soberbios, y abatiré la altivez de los fuertes.

daß ein Mann teurer sein soli denn fein Gold und ein Mensch werter denn Goldstucke aus Ophir.

Haré más precioso que el oro fino al varón, y más que el oro de Ophir al hombre.

I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

I will make people more rare than fine gold, even a person than the pure gold of Ophir.

Darum will ich den Himmel bewegen, daß die Erde beben soil von ihrer Statte durch den Grimm des HERRN Zebaoth und durch den Tag seines Zorns.

Porque haré estremecer los cielos, y la tierra se moverá de su lugar, en la indignación de Jehová de los ejércitos, y en el día de la ira de su furor.

Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Und sie soil sein wie ein verscheucht Reh und wie eine Herde ohne Hirten, daß sich ein jeglicherzu seinem Volk heimkehren und ein jeglicher in sein Land fliehen wird,

Y será que como corza amontada, y como oveja sin pastor, cada cual mirará hacia su pueblo, y cada uno huirá á su tierra.

And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.

It will happen that like a hunted gazelle and like sheep that no one gathers, they will each turn to their own people, and will each flee to their own land.

darum daß, welchersich da finden lalit, erstochen wird, und welcher dabei ist, durchs Schwert fallen wird.

Cualquiera que fuere hallado, será alanceado; y cualquiera que á ellos se juntare, caerá á cuchillo.

Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.

Everyone who is found will be thrust through. Everyone who is captured will fall by the sword.

Es sollen auch ihre Kinder vor ihren Augen zerschmettert, ihre Hauser geplündert und ihre Weiber geschandet werden.

Sus niños serán estrellados delante de ellos; sus casas serán saqueadas, y forzadas sus mujeres.

Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

Their infants also will be dashed in pieces before their eyes. Their houses will be ransacked, and their wives raped.

Denn siehe, ich will die Meder uber sie erwecken, die nicht Silber suchen Oder nach Gold fragen,

He aquí que yo despierto contra ellos á los Medos, que no curarán de la plata, ni codiciarán oro.

Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.

sondern die Junglinge mit Bogen erschieüen und sich der Frucht des Leibes nicht erbarmen noch der Kinder schonen.

Also soil Babel, das schonste unter den Konigreichen, die herrliche Pracht der Chaldaer, umgekehret werden von Gott, wie Sodom und Gomorrha,

Y Babilonia, hermosura de reinos y ornamento de la grandeza de los Caldeos, será como Sodoma y Gomorra, á las que trastornó Dios.

And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees’ excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

daß man hinfort nicht mehr da wohne, noch jemand da bleibe fur und fur, daß auch die Araber keine Hütten daselbst machen, und die Hirten keine Hürden da aufschlagen,

Nunca más será habitada, ni se morará en ella de generación en generación; ni hincará allí tienda el Arabe, ni pastores tendrán allí majada:

It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

It will never be inhabited, neither will it be lived in from generation to generation. The Arabian will not pitch a tent there, neither will shepherds make their flocks lie down there.

sondern Zihim werden sich da lagern und ihre Hauser voll Ohim sein, und Straulien werden da wohnen, und Feldgeister werden da hüpfen,

Sino que dormirán allí bestias fieras, y sus casas se llenarán de hurones, allí habitarán hijas del buho, y allí saltarán peludos.

But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.

But wild animals of the desert will lie there, and their houses will be full of jackals. Ostriches will dwell there, and wild goats will frolic there.

und Eulen in ihren Palasten singen und Drachen in den lustigen Schlossern. Und ihre Zeit wird schier kommen, und ihre Tage werden sich nicht saumen.

Y en sus palacios gritarán gatos cervales, y chacales en sus casas de deleite: y abocado está á venir su tiempo, y sus días no se alargarán.

And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

Hyenas will cry in their fortresses, and jackals in the pleasant palaces. Her time is near to come, and her days will not be prolonged.
