Il carico di Babilonia, il quale Isaia figliuolo di Amos vide.

LEVATE la bandiera sopra un alto monte, alzate la voce a coloro, scotete la mano, e dite che entrino nelle porte dei principi.

Levantad bandera sobre un alto monte; alzad la voz á ellos, alzad la mano, para que entren por puertas de príncipes.

Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

Set up a banner on the bare mountain! Lift up your voice to them! Wave your hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

Io ho data commissione a' miei deputati; ed anche, per eseguir l'ira mia, ho chiamati i miei uomini prodi, gli uomini trionfanti della mia altezza.

Yo mandé á mis santificados, asimismo llamé á mis valientes para mi ira, á los que se alegran con mi gloria.

I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

I have commanded my consecrated ones; yes, I have called my mighty men for my anger, even my proudly exulting ones.

Vi è un romore di moltitudine sopra i monti, simile a quello di un gran popolo; vi è un romore risonante de' regni delle nazioni adunate; il Signor degli eserciti rassegna l'esercito della gente di guerra.

Murmullo de multitud en los montes, como de mucho pueblo; murmullo de ruido de reinos, de gentes reunidas: Jehová de los ejércitos ordena las tropas de la batalla.

The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.

The noise of a multitude is in the mountains, as of a great people; the noise of an uproar of the kingdoms of the nations gathered together! The LORD of Armies is mustering the army for the battle.

Il Signore e gli strumenti della sua indegnazione vengono di lontan paese, dall'estremità del cielo, per distrugger tutta la terra.

Vienen de lejana tierra, de lo postrero de los cielos, Jehová y los instrumentos de su furor, para destruir toda la tierra.

Urlate; perciocchè il giorno del Signore è vicino; egli verrà come un guastamento fatto dall'Onnipotente.

Aullad, porque cerca está el día de Jehová; vendrá como asolamiento del Todopoderoso.

Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

Perciò, tutte le mani diventeranno fiacche, ed ogni cuor d'uomo si struggerà.

Por tanto, se enervarán todas la manos, y desleiráse todo corazón de hombre:

Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt:

Ed essi saranno smarriti; tormenti e doglie li coglieranno; sentiranno dolori, come la donna che partorisce; saranno tutti sbigottiti, riguardandosi l'un l'altro; le lor facce saranno come facce divampate dalle fiamme.

Y se llenarán de terror; angustias y dolores los comprenderán; tendrán dolores como mujer de parto; pasmaráse cada cual al mirar á su compañero; sus rostros, rostros de llamas.

And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

They will be dismayed. Pangs and sorrows will seize them. They will be in pain like a woman in labor. They will look in amazement one at another. Their faces will be faces of flame.

Ecco, il giorno del Signore viene, giorno crudele, e d'indegnazione, e d'ira accesa, per metter la terra in desolazione, e per distrugger da essa i suoi peccatori.

He aquí el día de Jehová viene, crudo, y de saña y ardor de ira, para tornar la tierra en soledad, y raer de ella sus pecadores.

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Perciocchè le stelle dei cieli, e gli astri di quelli non faranno lucere la lor luce; il sole scurerà, quando si leverà; e la luna non farà risplendere la sua luce.

Por lo cual las estrellas de los cielos y sus luceros no derramarán su lumbre; y el sol se oscurecerá en naciendo, y la luna no echará su resplandor.

For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

Ed io, dice il Signore, punirò il mondo della sua malvagità, e gli empi della loro iniquità; e farò cessar l'alterezza de' superbi, ed abbatterò l'orgoglio de' violenti.

Y visitaré la maldad sobre el mundo, y sobre los impíos su iniquidad; y haré que cese la arrogancia de los soberbios, y abatiré la altivez de los fuertes.

And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Io farò che un uomo sarà più pregiato che oro fino, e una persona più che oro di Ofir.

Haré más precioso que el oro fino al varón, y más que el oro de Ophir al hombre.

I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

I will make people more rare than fine gold, even a person than the pure gold of Ophir.

Perciò, io crollerò il cielo, e la terra tremerà, e sarà smossa dal suo luogo, per l'indegnazione del Signor degli eserciti, e per lo giorno dell'ardor dell'ira sua.

Porque haré estremecer los cielos, y la tierra se moverá de su lugar, en la indignación de Jehová de los ejércitos, y en el día de la ira de su furor.

Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken out of its place in the LORD of Armies’ wrath, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Ed essi saranno come un cavriuolo cacciato, e come pecore che niuno accoglie; ciascuno si volterà verso il suo popolo, e ciascuno fuggirà al suo paese.

Y será que como corza amontada, y como oveja sin pastor, cada cual mirará hacia su pueblo, y cada uno huirá á su tierra.

And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.

It will happen that like a hunted gazelle and like sheep that no one gathers, they will each turn to their own people, and will each flee to their own land.

Chiunque sarà trovato sarà trafitto, e chiunque si sarà aggiunto con loro caderà per la spada.

Cualquiera que fuere hallado, será alanceado; y cualquiera que á ellos se juntare, caerá á cuchillo.

Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.

Everyone who is found will be thrust through. Everyone who is captured will fall by the sword.

E i lor fanciulletti saranno schiacciati davanti agli occhi loro; le lor case saranno rubate, e le lor mogli violate.

Sus niños serán estrellados delante de ellos; sus casas serán saqueadas, y forzadas sus mujeres.

Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

Their infants also will be dashed in pieces before their eyes. Their houses will be ransacked, and their wives raped.

Ecco, io eccito contro a loro i Medi, i quali non faranno stima alcuna dell'argento, e non vorranno oro.

He aquí que yo despierto contra ellos á los Medos, que no curarán de la plata, ni codiciarán oro.

Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.

E con gli archi loro atterreranno i fanciulli, e non avranno pietà del frutto del ventre; e l'occhio loro non risparmierà i figlioletti.

E Babilonia, la gloria de' regni, la magnificenza della superbia dei Caldei, sarà sovvertita, come Iddio sovvertì Sodoma e Gomorra.

Y Babilonia, hermosura de reinos y ornamento de la grandeza de los Caldeos, será como Sodoma y Gomorra, á las que trastornó Dios.

And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees’ excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

Ella non sarà giammai più in piè, nè sarà abitata per alcuna età, nè pur vi pianteranno gli Arabi i lor padiglioni, nè vi stabbieranno i pastori.

Nunca más será habitada, ni se morará en ella de generación en generación; ni hincará allí tienda el Arabe, ni pastores tendrán allí majada:

It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

It will never be inhabited, neither will it be lived in from generation to generation. The Arabian will not pitch a tent there, neither will shepherds make their flocks lie down there.

Ma quivi giaceranno le fiere de' deserti; e le lor case saranno piene di gran serpenti, e l'ulule vi abiteranno, e vi salteranno i demoni.

Sino que dormirán allí bestias fieras, y sus casas se llenarán de hurones, allí habitarán hijas del buho, y allí saltarán peludos.

But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.

But wild animals of the desert will lie there, and their houses will be full of jackals. Ostriches will dwell there, and wild goats will frolic there.

E i gufi canteranno nelle lor case grandi, e i dragoni ne' lor palazzi di diletto. Or il tempo di essa viene, ed è vicino, e i suoi giorni non saran prolungati.

Y en sus palacios gritarán gatos cervales, y chacales en sus casas de deleite: y abocado está á venir su tiempo, y sus días no se alargarán.

And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

Hyenas will cry in their fortresses, and jackals in the pleasant palaces. Her time is near to come, and her days will not be prolonged.
