Die Weissagung über Babel, was Jeschajahu, Amoz Sohn, erschaute:

CARGA de Babilonia, que vió Isaías, hijo de Amoz.

Auf ragendem Berge erhebet das Panier, erhöhet die Stimme für sie, winket mit der Hand, daß sie eingehen durch der Fürsten Eingänge.

Levantad bandera sobre un alto monte; alzad la voz á ellos, alzad la mano, para que entren por puertas de príncipes.

Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

Set up a banner on the bare mountain! Lift up your voice to them! Wave your hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

Ich habe geboten meinen Geheiligten, auch meine Helden gerufen zu meinem Zorn, die jauchzen ob meiner Hoheit.

Yo mandé á mis santificados, asimismo llamé á mis valientes para mi ira, á los que se alegran con mi gloria.

I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

I have commanded my consecrated ones; yes, I have called my mighty men for my anger, even my proudly exulting ones.

Die Stimme einer Menge ist auf den Bergen, gleich wie von vielem Volk, die Stimme des Tosens von Königsreichen versammelter Völkerschaften. Jehovah der Heerscharen mustert das Heer zum Streit.

Murmullo de multitud en los montes, como de mucho pueblo; murmullo de ruido de reinos, de gentes reunidas: Jehová de los ejércitos ordena las tropas de la batalla.

The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.

The noise of a multitude is in the mountains, as of a great people; the noise of an uproar of the kingdoms of the nations gathered together! The LORD of Armies is mustering the army for the battle.

Aus fernem Lande kommen sie, von der Himmel Ende, Jehovah und die Werkzeuge Seines Unwillens, um zu zerstören alles Land.

Vienen de lejana tierra, de lo postrero de los cielos, Jehová y los instrumentos de su furor, para destruir toda la tierra.

They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

Aullad, porque cerca está el día de Jehová; vendrá como asolamiento del Todopoderoso.

Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

Darob erschlaffen die Hände aller, und jegliches Menschen Herz zerschmilzt.

Por tanto, se enervarán todas la manos, y desleiráse todo corazón de hombre:

Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt:

Therefore all hands will be feeble, and everyone’s heart will melt.

Sie sind bestürzt, Wehen und Geburtsnöte ergreifen sie, sie kreißen wie eine Gebärerin; ein Mann starrt an seinen Genossen. Flammengesichter sind ihre Angesichter.

Y se llenarán de terror; angustias y dolores los comprenderán; tendrán dolores como mujer de parto; pasmaráse cada cual al mirar á su compañero; sus rostros, rostros de llamas.

And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

They will be dismayed. Pangs and sorrows will seize them. They will be in pain like a woman in labor. They will look in amazement one at another. Their faces will be faces of flame.

Siehe, Jehovahs Tag kommt grausam und wütend und mit Entbrennung des Zornes, das Land in Verwüstung zu legen und seine Sünder daraus zu vernichten.

He aquí el día de Jehová viene, crudo, y de saña y ardor de ira, para tornar la tierra en soledad, y raer de ella sus pecadores.

Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger; to make the land a desolation, and to destroy its sinners out of it.

Denn die Sterne der Himmel und ihre Sternbilder lassen ihr Licht nicht leuchten, die Sonne ist finster in ihrem Ausgang und der Mond läßt sein Licht nicht glänzen.

Por lo cual las estrellas de los cielos y sus luceros no derramarán su lumbre; y el sol se oscurecerá en naciendo, y la luna no echará su resplandor.

For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

Und heimsuchen will Ich in der Welt das Böse, und an den Ungerechten ihre Misse- tat und dem Stolz der Vermessenen Einhalt tun, und der Trotzigen Übermut erniedrigen.

Y visitaré la maldad sobre el mundo, y sobre los impíos su iniquidad; y haré que cese la arrogancia de los soberbios, y abatiré la altivez de los fuertes.

And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

Kostbarer will Ich den Mann machen, denn feines Gold, und den Menschen, denn Ophirs lauteres Gold.

Haré más precioso que el oro fino al varón, y más que el oro de Ophir al hombre.

I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

I will make people more rare than fine gold, even a person than the pure gold of Ophir.

Darum lasse Ich die Himmel zittern und die Erde erbeben von ihrem Ort, bei dem Wüten Jehovahs der Heerscharen und am Tage des Entbrennens Seines Zornes.

Porque haré estremecer los cielos, y la tierra se moverá de su lugar, en la indignación de Jehová de los ejércitos, y en el día de la ira de su furor.

Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken out of its place in the LORD of Armies’ wrath, and in the day of his fierce anger.

Und es geschieht, daß wie ein verscheuchtes Reh, und wie die Herde, die keiner zusammenbringt, der Mann zu seinem Volke sich wendet und der Mann nach seinem Lande flieht.

Y será que como corza amontada, y como oveja sin pastor, cada cual mirará hacia su pueblo, y cada uno huirá á su tierra.

And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.

It will happen that like a hunted gazelle and like sheep that no one gathers, they will each turn to their own people, and will each flee to their own land.

Jeder, der gefunden wird, wird durchstochen, und jeder, der sich versammelt, fällt durch das Schwert.

Cualquiera que fuere hallado, será alanceado; y cualquiera que á ellos se juntare, caerá á cuchillo.

Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.

Everyone who is found will be thrust through. Everyone who is captured will fall by the sword.

Und ihre Kindlein werden vor ihren Augen zerschmettert, geplündert ihre Häuser und geschändet ihre Weiber.

Sus niños serán estrellados delante de ellos; sus casas serán saqueadas, y forzadas sus mujeres.

Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.

Their infants also will be dashed in pieces before their eyes. Their houses will be ransacked, and their wives raped.

Siehe, Ich errege wider sie die Meder, die Silber nicht achten und keine Lust am Golde haben;

He aquí que yo despierto contra ellos á los Medos, que no curarán de la plata, ni codiciarán oro.

Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.

Und die Jünglinge zerschmettern die Bogen und erbarmen sich nicht der Frucht des Leibes, noch schont ihr Auge der Söhne.

Y con arcos tirarán á los niños, y no tendrán misericordia de fruto de vientre, ni su ojo perdonará á hijos.

Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children.

Und Babel, die Zierde der Königreiche, der Schmuck des Stolzes der Chaldäer wird wie die Umkehrung Gottes von Sodom und Gomorrah.

Y Babilonia, hermosura de reinos y ornamento de la grandeza de los Caldeos, será como Sodoma y Gomorra, á las que trastornó Dios.

And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees’ excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldeans’ pride, will be like when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.

Nimmermehr wird man darin wohnen, und nicht wohne man da auf Geschlecht und Geschlecht, nicht zeltet dort der Araber und die Hirten lassen dort nicht lagern.

Nunca más será habitada, ni se morará en ella de generación en generación; ni hincará allí tienda el Arabe, ni pastores tendrán allí majada:

It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there.

It will never be inhabited, neither will it be lived in from generation to generation. The Arabian will not pitch a tent there, neither will shepherds make their flocks lie down there.

Und die Zijim lagern dort, und ihre Häuser füllen die Ochim, und die Töchter der Nachteulen wohnen da, und allda hüpfen die Feldteufel.

Sino que dormirán allí bestias fieras, y sus casas se llenarán de hurones, allí habitarán hijas del buho, y allí saltarán peludos.

But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.

But wild animals of the desert will lie there, and their houses will be full of jackals. Ostriches will dwell there, and wild goats will frolic there.

Und die Ijim antworten einander in ihren Palästen und Drachen in den Tempeln der Üppigkeit. Und nah ist ihre Zeit, daß sie komme und ihre Tage werden nicht verziehen.

Y en sus palacios gritarán gatos cervales, y chacales en sus casas de deleite: y abocado está á venir su tiempo, y sus días no se alargarán.

And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

Hyenas will cry in their fortresses, and jackals in the pleasant palaces. Her time is near to come, and her days will not be prolonged.
