Hinabgestürzt †in den Scheol †ist deine Herrlichkeit (Stolz, Majestät), das Rauschen (Geräusch) deiner Harfe. Unter dir ist Gewürm zum Lager ausgebreitet, und deine Decke †ist ein Wurm.

Descendió al sepulcro tu soberbia, y el sonido de tus vihuelas: gusanos serán tu cama, y gusanos te cubrirán.

Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.

Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, with the sound of your stringed instruments. Maggots are spread out under you, and worms cover you.
