¡AY de la tierra que hace sombra con las alas, que está tras los ríos de Etiopía;
Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:
Ah, the land of the rustling of wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia;
Qui envoie par mer des ambassadeurs, et dans des vaisseaux de jonc sur les eaux. Allez, messagers légers, vers la nation de grand attirail et brillante, vers le peuple terrible, depuis là où il est et par delà ; nation allant à la file, et qui foule tout, dont les fleuves ravagent sa terre.
Que envía mensajeros por la mar, y en navíos de junco sobre las aguas! Andad, ligeros mensajeros, á la gente tirada y repelada, al pueblo asombroso desde su principio y después; gente harta de esperar y hollada, cuya tierra destruyeron los ríos.
That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
that sends ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of papyrus on the waters, saying, “Go, you swift messengers, to a nation tall and smooth, to a people awesome from their beginning onward, a nation that measures out and treads down, whose land the rivers divide!”
Vous tous les habitants du monde habitable, et vous qui demeurez dans le pays, sitôt que l’enseigne sera élevée sur les montagnes, regardez, et sitôt que le cor aura sonné écoutez.
Vosotros, todos los moradores del mundo y habitantes de la tierra, cuando levantará bandera en los montes, la veréis; y oiréis cuando tocará trompeta.
All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.

Porque Jehová me dijo así: Reposaréme, y miraré desde mi morada, como sol claro después de la lluvia, como nube de rocío en el calor de la tierra.

Car avant la moisson, sitôt que le bouton sera venu en sa perfection, et que la fleur sera devenue un raisin se mûrissant, il coupera les rameaux avec des serpes, et il ôtera les sarments, les ayant retranchés.
Porque antes de la siega, cuando el fruto fuere perfecto, y pasada la flor fueren madurando los frutos, entonces podará con podaderas los ramitos, y cortará y quitará las ramas.

Ils seront tous ensemble abandonnés aux oiseaux de proie qui demeurent dans les montagnes, et aux bêtes du pays ; les oiseaux de proie seront sur eux tout le long de l’Eté, et toutes les bêtes du pays y passeront leur hiver.
Y serán dejados todos á las aves de los montes, y á las bestias de la tierra; sobre ellos tendrán el verano las aves, é invernarán todas las bestias de la tierra.
They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.
They will be left together for the ravenous birds of the mountains, and for the animals of the earth. The ravenous birds will eat them in the summer, and all the animals of the earth will eat them in the winter.
En ce temps-là sera apporté à l’Eternel des armées un présent du peuple de long attirail et brillant, de la part, dis-je, du peuple terrible, depuis là où il est, et par delà ; de la nation allant à la file, et qui foule tout ; les fleuves de laquelle ont ravagé son pays, dans la demeure du Nom de l’Eternel des armées, en la montagne de Sion.
En aquel tiempo será traído presente á Jehová de los ejércitos, el pueblo tirado y repelado, pueblo asombroso desde su principio y después; gente harta de esperar y hollada, cuya tierra destruyeron los ríos; al lugar del nombre de Jehová de los ejércitos, al monte de Sión.
In that time shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.
In that time, a present will be brought to the LORD of Armies from a people tall and smooth, even from a people awesome from their beginning onward, a nation that measures out and treads down, whose land the rivers divide, to the place of the name of the LORD of Armies, Mount Zion.
