Este é o julgamento contra o Egito: O Senhor se aproxima depressa, montado sobre uma nuvem veloz, para castigar o Egito. Os falsos deuses do Egito tremem diante dele, e o coração dos egípcios se derrete de medo.
CARGA de Egipto. He aquí que Jehová monta sobre una ligera nube, y entrará en Egipto; y los ídolos de Egipto se moverán delante de él, y desleiráse el corazón de los Egipcios en medio de ellos.
The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

Os sábios conselheiros do Egito quebrarão a cabeça, tentando descobrir uma solução; vão pedir aos seus ídolos e necromantes uma resposta; chamarão feiticeiros, adivinhos e médiuns para resolver os problemas do país, mas farei que os seus planos resultem em nada.
Y el espíritu de Egipto se desvanecerá en medio de él, y destruiré su consejo; y preguntarán á sus imágenes, á sus mágicos, á sus pythones y á sus adivinos.
And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
The spirit of the Egyptians will fail within them. I will destroy their counsel. They will seek the idols, the charmers, those who have familiar spirits, and the wizards.
Então entregarei o Egito a um senhor duro e cruel, a um rei muito mau”, diz o Senhor Todo-poderoso.
Y entregaré á Egipto en manos de señor duro; y rey violento se enseñoreará de ellos, dice el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos.
And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

As águas do rio Nilo secarão; não haverá a enchente que todos os anos alaga os campos.

And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.

Os canais usados para molhar as plantações ficarão entupidos de plantas podres e terão um cheiro horrível. Os juncos e as canas murcharão.
Y alejaránse los ríos, se agotarán y secarán las corrientes de los fosos: la caña y el carrizo serán cortados.
And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.
The rivers will become foul. The streams of Egypt will be diminished and dried up. The reeds and flags will wither away.
Toda a terra fértil junto ao rio secará até virar pó e ser carregada pelo vento. Todas as plantações secarão e desaparecerão.

The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.
The meadows by the Nile, by the brink of the Nile, and all the sown fields of the Nile, will become dry, be driven away, and be no more.
Os pescadores do Nilo vão chorar, sem trabalho e sem comida. Os que usam anzóis e os que jogam redes vão ficar na miséria.
Los pescadores también se entristecerán; y harán duelo todos los que echan anzuelo en el río, y desfallecerán los que extienden red sobre las aguas.
The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.
The fishermen will lament, and all those who fish in the Nile will mourn, and those who spread nets on the waters will languish.
Os tecelões, que faziam roupas de linho e algodão, perderão tudo porque as colheitas foram destruídas.
Los que labran lino fino, y los que tejen redes, serán confundidos;
Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded.
Moreover those who work in combed flax, and those who weave white cloth, will be confounded.
Todos vão sofrer com a desgraça do país; os ricos perderão suas fortunas, e os trabalhadores passarão necessidade.
Porque todas sus redes serán rotas: y se entristecerán todos los que hacen viveros para peces.
And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.
The pillars will be broken in pieces. All those who work for hire will be grieved in soul.
Os príncipes de Zoã são tolos! Os melhores conselhos que eles dão ao faraó, o rei do Egito, não passam de tolices. E eles ainda contam vantagens ao faraó, dizendo: “Sou sábio, sou discípulo dos reis da antiguidade!”
Ciertamente son necios los príncipes de Zoán; el consejo de los prudentes consejeros de Faraón, se ha desvanecido. ¿Cómo diréis á Faraón: Yo soy hijo de los sabios, é hijo de los reyes antiguos?
Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?
The princes of Zoan are utterly foolish. The counsel of the wisest counselors of Pharaoh has become stupid. How do you say to Pharaoh, “I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings”?
Onde foram parar os seus sábios, senhor rei do Egito? Onde está a sabedoria de todos eles? Se forem sábios de verdade, digam o que o Senhor Todo-poderoso tem planejado contra o Egito.
¿Dónde están ahora aquellos tus prudentes? Dígante ahora, ó hágante saber qué es lo que Jehová de los ejércitos ha determinado sobre Egipto.
Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.
Where then are your wise men? Let them tell you now; and let them know what the LORD of Armies has purposed concerning Egypt.
Os líderes de Zoã não passam de tolos; os conselheiros de Mênfis foram enganados. As pessoas mais importantes do país acabaram arruinando o Egito com seus maus conselhos.
Hanse desvanecido los príncipes de Zoán, se han engañado los príncipes de Noph: engañaron á Egipto las esquinas de sus familias.
The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.
The princes of Zoan have become fools. The princes of Memphis are deceived. They have caused Egypt to go astray, those who are the cornerstone of her tribes.
O Senhor colocou na mente desses homens um espírito de confusão, e por isso todos os conselhos que eles dão são errados. Eles fizeram o Egito cambalear como um bêbado cambaleia em volta do seu vômito.

The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.

Não há nada que o Egito possa fazer. Ninguém, seja cabeça ou cauda, palma ou junco, pode fazer alguma coisa.

In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.
In that day the Egyptians will be like women. They will tremble and fear because of the shaking of the LORD of Armies’s hand, which he shakes over them.
Judá trará pavor aos egípcios. Para deixar os egípcios tremendo de medo, bastará falar o nome de Judá, por causa dos planos que o Senhor Todo-poderoso fez contra o Egito.
Y la tierra de Judá será de espanto á Egipto; todo hombre que de ella se acordare se asombrará, por causa del consejo que Jehová de los ejércitos acordó sobre aquél.
And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.
The land of Judah will become a terror to Egypt. Everyone to whom mention is made of it will be afraid, because of the plans of the LORD of Armies, which he determines against it.
Naquele dia, cinco cidades farão um juramento de obedecer ao Senhor Todo-poderoso e começarão a falar a língua de Judá. Uma dessas cidades será Heliópolis, a “Cidade do Sol”.
En aquel tiempo habrá cinco ciudades en la tierra de Egipto que hablen la lengua de Canaán, y que juren por Jehová de los ejércitos: una será llamada la ciudad Herez.
In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

Haverá também um altar dedicado ao Senhor na terra do Egito e um monumento ao Senhor na fronteira
En aquel tiempo habrá altar para Jehová en medio de la tierra de Egipto, y el trofeo de Jehová junto á su término.

que servirão de sinal e testemunho para lembrar os egípcios de que devem obedecer ao Senhor Todo-poderoso. Quando estiverem sendo maltratados por outros povos, eles pedirão ajuda ao Senhor, e ele mandará um salvador e defensor que livrará o povo egípcio.
Y será por señal y por testimonio á Jehová de los ejércitos en la tierra de Egipto: porque á Jehová clamarán á causa de sus opresores, y él les enviará salvador y príncipe que los libre.
And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
It will be for a sign and for a witness to the LORD of Armies in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the LORD because of oppressors, and he will send them a savior and a defender, and he will deliver them.
Naquele dia o Senhor mesmo vai se revelar aos egípcios. Eles vão conhecer o Senhor e vão adorá-lo com sacrifícios e ofertas de cereal. Farão promessas ao Senhor e cumprirão o que prometeram.
Y Jehová será conocido de Egipto, y los de Egipto conocerán á Jehová en aquel día; y harán sacrificio y oblación; y harán votos á Jehová, y los cumplirán.
And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.
The LORD will be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians will know the LORD in that day. Yes, they will worship with sacrifice and offering, and will vow a vow to the LORD, and will perform it.
O Senhor vai ferir o Egito, mas depois curará as suas feridas. Eles se voltarão para o Senhor, e ele vai ouvir os seus pedidos e os curará.

Naquele dia, o Egito e a Assíria serão ligados por uma estrada, pela qual os egípcios e os assírios poderão viajar livremente, de um país ao outro. Os dois povos adorarão o Senhor.

Israel, Egito e Assíria serão amigos e viverão em paz. Israel será o mediador entre esses dois povos,

Porque Jehová de los ejércitos los bendecirá, diciendo: Bendito el pueblo mío Egipto, y el Asirio obra de mis manos, é Israel mi heredad.
Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
because the LORD of Armies has blessed them, saying, “Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel my inheritance.”
