Bringet nicht mehr Speisopfer so vergeblich! Das Rauchwerk ist mir ein Greuei; der Neumonden und Sabbate, da ihrzusammenkommet und Mühe und Angst habt, deren mag ich nicht.

No me traigáis más vano presente: el perfume me es abominación: luna nueva y sábado, el convocar asambleas, no las puedo sufrir: son iniquidad vuestras solemnidades.

Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
