L'anima mio odia le vostre calendi, e le vostre solennità; mi son di gravezza; io sono stanco di portarle.

Vuestras lunas nuevas y vuestras solemnidades tiene aborrecidas mi alma: me son gravosas; cansado estoy de llevarlas.

Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
