Isaías 1

Perciò, quando voi spiegherete le palme delle mani, io nasconderò gli occhi miei da voi; eziandio, quando moltiplicherete le orazioni, io non le esaudirò; le vostre mani son piene di sangue.

Cuando extendiereis vuestras manos, yo esconderé de vosotros mis ojos: asimismo cuando multiplicareis la oración, yo no oiré: llenas están de sangre vuestras manos.

And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
