Prophétie d’Ésaïe, fils d’Amots, sur Juda et Jérusalem, au temps d’Ozias, de Jotham, d’Achaz, d’Ézéchias, rois de Juda.

VISIÓN de Isaías hijo de Amoz, la cual vió sobre Judá y Jerusalem, en días de Uzzías, Jotham, Achâz y Ezechîas, reyes de Judá.

The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

Cieux, écoutez! Terre, prête l’oreille! Car l’Éternel parle. J’ai nourri et élevé des enfants, Mais ils se sont révoltés contre moi.

Oid, cielos, y escucha tú, tierra; porque habla Jehová: Crié hijos, y engrandecílos, y ellos se rebelaron contra mí.

Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.

Le bœuf connaît son possesseur, Et l’âne la crèche de son maître: Israël ne connaît rien, Mon peuple n’a point d’intelligence.

El buey conoce á su dueño, y el asno el pesebre de su señor: Israel no conoce, mi pueblo no tiene entendimiento.

The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master’s crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.

Malheur à la nation pécheresse, au peuple chargé d’iniquités, A la race des méchants, aux enfants corrompus! Ils ont abandonné l’Éternel, ils ont méprisé le Saint d’Israël. Ils se sont retirés en arrière…

¡Oh gente pecadora, pueblo cargado de maldad, generación de malignos, hijos depravados! Dejaron á Jehová, provocaron á ira al Santo de Israel, tornáronse atrás.

Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

Ah sinful nation, a people loaded with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly! They have forsaken the LORD. They have despised the Holy One of Israel. They are estranged and backward.

Quels châtiments nouveaux vous infliger, Quand vous multipliez vos révoltes? La tête entière est malade, Et tout le cœur est souffrant.

¿Para qué habéis de ser castigados aún? todavía os rebelaréis. Toda cabeza está enferma, y todo corazón doliente.

Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

De la plante du pied jusqu’à la tête, rien n’est en bon état: Ce ne sont que blessures, contusions et plaies vives, Qui n’ont été ni pansées, ni bandées, Ni adoucies par l’huile.

Desde la planta del pie hasta la cabeza no hay en él cosa ilesa, sino herida, hinchazón y podrida llaga: no están curadas, ni vendadas, ni suavizadas con aceite.

From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.

Votre pays est dévasté, Vos villes sont consumées par le feu, Des étrangers dévorent vos campagnes sous vos yeux, Ils ravagent et détruisent, comme des barbares.

Vuestra tierra está destruída, vuestras ciudades puestas á fuego, vuestra tierra delante de vosotros comida de extranjeros, y asolada como asolamiento de extraños.

Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.

Et la fille de Sion est restée Comme une cabane dans une vigne, Comme une hutte dans un champ de concombres, Comme une ville épargnée.

Y queda la hija de Sión como choza en viña, y como cabaña en melonar, como ciudad asolada.

And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.

Si l’Éternel des armées Ne nous eût conservé un faible reste, Nous serions comme Sodome, Nous ressemblerions à Gomorrhe.

Si Jehová de los ejércitos no hubiera hecho que nos quedasen muy cortos residuos, como Sodoma fuéramos, y semejantes á Gomorra.

Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.

Écoutez la parole de l’Éternel, chefs de Sodome! Prête l’oreille à la loi de notre Dieu, peuple de Gomorrhe!

Príncipes de Sodoma, oid la palabra de Jehová; escuchad la ley de nuestro Dios, pueblo de Gomorra.

Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.

Qu’ai-je affaire de la multitude de vos sacrifices? Dit l’Éternel. Je suis rassasié des holocaustes de béliers et de la graisse des veaux; Je ne prends point plaisir au sang des taureaux, des brebis et des boucs.

¿Para qué á mí, dice Jehová, la multitud de vuestros sacrificios? Harto estoy de holocaustos de carneros, y de sebo de animales gruesos: no quiero sangre de bueyes, ni de ovejas, ni de machos cabríos.

To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

“What are the multitude of your sacrifices to me?”, says the LORD. “I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams and the fat of fed animals. I don’t delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of male goats.

Quand vous venez vous présenter devant moi, Qui vous demande de souiller mes parvis?

¿Quién demandó esto de vuestras manos, cuando vinieseis á presentaros delante de mí, para hollar mis atrios?

When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?

Cessez d’apporter de vaines offrandes: J’ai en horreur l’encens, Les nouvelles lunes, les sabbats et les assemblées; Je ne puis voir le crime s’associer aux solennités.

No me traigáis más vano presente: el perfume me es abominación: luna nueva y sábado, el convocar asambleas, no las puedo sufrir: son iniquidad vuestras solemnidades.

Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

Bring no more vain offerings. Incense is an abomination to me. New moons, Sabbaths, and convocations— I can’t stand evil assemblies.

Mon âme hait vos nouvelles lunes et vos fêtes; Elles me sont à charge; Je suis las de les supporter.

Vuestras lunas nuevas y vuestras solemnidades tiene aborrecidas mi alma: me son gravosas; cansado estoy de llevarlas.

Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.

My soul hates your New Moons and your appointed feasts. They are a burden to me. I am weary of bearing them.

Quand vous étendez vos mains, je détourne de vous mes yeux; Quand vous multipliez les prières, je n’écoute pas: Vos mains sont pleines de sang.

Cuando extendiereis vuestras manos, yo esconderé de vosotros mis ojos: asimismo cuando multiplicareis la oración, yo no oiré: llenas están de sangre vuestras manos.

And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.

Lavez-vous, purifiez-vous, Otez de devant mes yeux la méchanceté de vos actions; Cessez de faire le mal.

Lavad, limpiaos; quitad la iniquidad de vuestras obras de ante mis ojos; dejad de hacer lo malo:

Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

Wash yourselves. Make yourself clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil.

Apprenez à faire le bien, recherchez la justice, Protégez l’opprimé; Faites droit à l’orphelin, Défendez la veuve.

Aprended á hacer bien; buscad juicio, restituid al agraviado, oid en derecho al huérfano, amparad á la viuda.

Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow.”

Venez et plaidons! Dit l’Éternel. Si vos péchés sont comme le cramoisi, ils deviendront blancs comme la neige; S’ils sont rouges comme la pourpre, ils deviendront comme la laine.

Venid luego, dirá Jehová, y estemos á cuenta: si vuestros pecados fueren como la grana, como la nieve serán emblanquecidos: si fueren rojos como el carmesí, vendrán á ser como blanca lana.

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Si vous avez de la bonne volonté et si vous êtes dociles, Vous mangerez les meilleures productions du pays;

Si quisiereis y oyereis, comeréis el bien de la tierra:

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land;

Mais si vous résistez et si vous êtes rebelles, Vous serez dévorés par le glaive, Car la bouche de l’Éternel a parlé.

Si no quisiereis y fuereis rebeldes, seréis consumidos á espada: porque la boca de Jehová lo ha dicho.

But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

but if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured with the sword; for the LORD’s mouth has spoken it.”

Quoi donc! La cité fidèle est devenue une prostituée! Elle était remplie d’équité, la justice y habitait, Et maintenant il y a des assassins!

¿Cómo te has tornado ramera, oh ciudad fiel? Llena estuvo de juicio, en ella habitó equidad; mas ahora, homicidas.

How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment; righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.

How the faithful city has become a prostitute! She was full of justice. Righteousness lodged in her, but now there are murderers.

Ton argent s’est changé en scories, Ton vin a été coupé d’eau.

Tu plata se ha tornado escorias, tu vino mezclado está con agua.

Thy silver is become dross, thy wine mixed with water:

Your silver has become dross, your wine mixed with water.

Tes chefs sont rebelles et complices des voleurs, Tous aiment les présents et courent après les récompenses; Ils ne font pas droit à l’orphelin, Et la cause de la veuve ne vient pas jusqu’à eux.

Tus príncipes, prevaricadores y compañeros de ladrones: todos aman las dádivas, y van tras las recompensas: no oyen en juicio al huérfano, ni llega á ellos la causa de la viuda.

Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.

Your princes are rebellious and companions of thieves. Everyone loves bribes and follows after rewards. They don’t defend the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come to them.

C’est pourquoi voici ce que dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel des armées, Le Fort d’Israël: Ah! Je tirerai satisfaction de mes adversaires, Et je me vengerai de mes ennemis.

Por tanto, dice el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos, el Fuerte de Israel: Ea, tomaré satisfacción de mis enemigos, vengaréme de mis adversarios:

Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:

Therefore the Lord, GOD of Armies, the Mighty One of Israel, says: “Ah, I will get relief from my adversaries, and avenge myself on my enemies.

Je porterai ma main sur toi, Je fondrai tes scories, comme avec de la potasse, Et j’enlèverai toutes tes parcelles de plomb.

Y volveré mi mano sobre ti, y limpiaré hasta lo más puro tus escorias, y quitaré todo tu estaño:

And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:

I will turn my hand on you, thoroughly purge away your dross, and will take away all your tin.

Je rétablirai tes juges tels qu’ils étaient autrefois, Et tes conseillers tels qu’ils étaient au commencement. Après cela, on t’appellera ville de la justice, Cité fidèle.

Y restituiré tus jueces como al principio, y tus consejeros como de primero: entonces te llamarán Ciudad de justicia, Ciudad fiel.

And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.

I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called ‘The city of righteousness, a faithful town.’

Sion sera sauvée par la droiture, Et ceux qui s’y convertiront seront sauvés par la justice.

Sión con juicio será rescatada, y los convertidos de ella con justicia.

Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

Mais la ruine atteindra tous les rebelles et les pécheurs, Et ceux qui abandonnent l’Éternel périront.

Mas los rebeldes y pecadores á una serán quebrantados, y los que dejan á Jehová serán consumidos.

And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.

On aura honte à cause des térébinthes auxquels vous prenez plaisir, Et vous rougirez à cause des jardins dont vous faites vos délices;

Entonces os avergonzarán los olmos que amasteis, y os afrentarán los bosques que escogisteis.

For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which ye have desired, and ye shall be confounded for the gardens that ye have chosen.

Car vous serez comme un térébinthe au feuillage flétri, Comme un jardin qui n’a pas d’eau.

Porque seréis como el olmo que se le cae la hoja, y como huerto que le faltan las aguas.

For ye shall be as an oak whose leaf fadeth, and as a garden that hath no water.

For you shall be as an oak whose leaf fades, and as a garden that has no water.

L’homme fort sera comme de l’étoupe, Et son œuvre comme une étincelle; Ils brûleront l’un et l’autre ensemble, Et il n’y aura personne pour éteindre.

Y el fuerte será como estopa, y lo que hizo como centella; y ambos serán encendidos juntamente, y no habrá quien apague.

And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.

The strong will be like tinder, and his work like a spark. They will both burn together, and no one will quench them.”
