The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass through; so it cometh from the desert, from a terrible land.

A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.
A grievous vision is declared to me. The treacherous man deals treacherously, and the destroyer destroys. Go up, Elam; attack! I have stopped all of Media’s sighing.
C’est pourquoi mes reins sont remplis de douleur ; des angoisses m’ont saisi comme les angoisses de celle qui enfante ; je suis courbé, à ne pas entendre ; je suis terrifié, à n’y pas voir ;
Por tanto mis lomos se han llenado de dolor; angustias se apoderaron de mí, como angustias de mujer de parto: agobiéme oyendo, y al ver heme espantado.
Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it.
Therefore my thighs are filled with anguish. Pains have seized me, like the pains of a woman in labor. I am in so much pain that I can’t hear. I am so dismayed that I can’t see.
mon cœur bat ; le tremblement s’est emparé de moi ; la nuit de mon plaisir, il me l’a changée en effroi.
Pasmóse mi corazón, el horror me ha intimidado; la noche de mi deseo se me tornó en espanto.
My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: the night of my pleasure hath he turned into fear unto me.
My heart flutters. Horror has frightened me. The twilight that I desired has been turned into trembling for me.
Dresse la table ; fais le guet ; mange, bois… Princes, levez-vous, oignez le bouclier !
Pon la mesa, mira del atalaya, come, bebe: levantaos, príncipes, ungid el escudo.
Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, ye princes, and anoint the shield.

Et elle vit un char, une paire de cavaliers, un char attelé d’ânes, un char attelé de chameaux. Et elle écouta diligemment, avec grande attention ;
Y vió un carro de un par de caballeros, un carro de asno, y un carro de camello. Luego miró muy más atentamente.
And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed:
When he sees a troop, horsemen in pairs, a troop of donkeys, a troop of camels, he shall listen diligently with great attentiveness.”
et elle cria comme un lion : Seigneur, je me tiens dans le poste d’observation constamment, de jour, et je suis là faisant ma garde toutes les nuits…
Y gritó como un león: Señor, sobre la atalaya estoy yo continuamente de día, y las noches enteras sobre mi guarda:
And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights:

Et voici, il vient un char d’hommes, une paire de cavaliers ! Et il répondit, et dit : Babylone est tombée, elle est tombée, et toutes les images de ses dieux sont brisées par terre.
Y he aquí este carro de hombres viene, un par de caballeros. Después habló, y dijo: Cayó, cayó Babilonia; y todos los ídolos de sus dioses quebrantó en tierra.
And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.
Behold, here comes a troop of men, horsemen in pairs.” He answered, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon; and all the engraved images of her gods are broken to the ground.
Ô vous, mon blé battu, et le fruit de mon aire ! ce que j’ai entendu de l’Éternel des armées, le Dieu d’Israël, je vous l’ai rapporté.

O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.
You are my threshing, and the grain of my floor!” That which I have heard from the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, I have declared to you.
*L’oracle touchant Duma. Il me crie de Séhir : Sentinelle, à quoi en est la nuit ? Sentinelle, à quoi en est la nuit ?

La sentinelle dit : Le matin vient, et aussi la nuit. Si vous voulez vous enquérir, enquérez-vous ; revenez, venez.
El guarda respondió: La mañana viene, y después la noche: si preguntareis, preguntad; volved, venid.
The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.

*L’oracle contre l’Arabie. Vous logerez dans la forêt de l’Arabie, caravanes des Dedanites.
Carga sobre Arabia. En el monte tendréis la noche en Arabia, oh caminantes de Dedanim.
The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye travelling companies of Dedanim.

À la rencontre de celui qui a soif apportez de l’eau ! Les habitants du pays de Théma viennent avec leur pain au-devant de celui qui fuit ;
Salid á encontrar al sediento; llevadle aguas, moradores de tierra de Tema, socorred con su pan al que huye.
The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented with their bread him that fled.
They brought water to him who was thirsty. The inhabitants of the land of Tema met the fugitives with their bread.
car ils s’enfuient devant les épées, devant l’épée dégainée, et devant l’arc tendu, et devant le poids de la guerre.
Porque de la presencia de las espadas huyen, de la presencia de la espada desnuda, de la presencia del arco entesado, de la presencia del peso de la batalla.
For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.

Car ainsi m’a dit le Seigneur : Encore une année comme les années d’un mercenaire, et toute la gloire de Kédar aura pris fin,
Porque así me ha dicho Jehová: De aquí á un año, semejante á años de mozo de soldada, toda la gloria de Cedar será deshecha;
For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail:
For the Lord said to me, “Within a year, as a worker bound by contract would count it, all the glory of Kedar will fail,
et le reste du nombre des archers des hommes forts des fils de Kédar sera amoindri ; car l’Éternel, le Dieu d’Israël, a parlé.
Y las reliquias del número de los valientes flecheros, hijos de Cedar, serán apocadas: porque Jehová Dios de Israel lo ha dicho.
And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the LORD God of Israel hath spoken it.
