Esta é a mensagem de Deus sobre a Babilônia. Um terrível desastre se aproxima de você, vindo do deserto junto ao mar, como um vendaval em forma de redemoinhos que vem do deserto de Neguebe, ao sul de Judá, daquela terra pavorosa.
CARGA del desierto de la mar. Como los torbellinos que pasan por el desierto en la región del mediodía, así vienen de la tierra horrenda.
The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass through; so it cometh from the desert, from a terrible land.
The burden of the wilderness of the sea. As whirlwinds in the South sweep through, it comes from the wilderness, from an awesome land.
Deus me mostrou uma visão assustadora: A Babilônia vive praticando o mal e destruindo outros povos. Mas ela mesma vai ser destruída pelos elamitas e medos. Então o sofrimento das outras nações vai acabar.
Visión dura me ha sido mostrada. El prevaricador prevarica, y el destructor destruye. Sube, Persa; cerca, Medo. Todo su gemido hice cesar.
A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.
A grievous vision is declared to me. The treacherous man deals treacherously, and the destroyer destroys. Go up, Elam; attack! I have stopped all of Media’s sighing.
A visão é tão terrível que me deixou angustiado; sinto dores muito fortes como a mulher que vai dar à luz. Estou ficando tão fraco que quase não posso ouvir. Estou ficando cego de tanto medo.
Por tanto mis lomos se han llenado de dolor; angustias se apoderaron de mí, como angustias de mujer de parto: agobiéme oyendo, y al ver heme espantado.
Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it.
Therefore my thighs are filled with anguish. Pains have seized me, like the pains of a woman in labor. I am in so much pain that I can’t hear. I am so dismayed that I can’t see.
Meu coração estremece, fiquei completamente apavorado. Eu queria que a noite chegasse para poder descansar, mas não consigo dormir; fico acordado, tremendo de medo.
Pasmóse mi corazón, el horror me ha intimidado; la noche de mi deseo se me tornó en espanto.
My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: the night of my pleasure hath he turned into fear unto me.
My heart flutters. Horror has frightened me. The twilight that I desired has been turned into trembling for me.
Eu vi na minha visão servos arrumando uma grande mesa. Havia todo tipo de comida e muita bebida. Os convidados chegaram e se sentaram para comer. Mas, de repente, alguém deu esta ordem: “Vamos, príncipes e soldados! Corram, depressa, preparem seus escudos!”
Pon la mesa, mira del atalaya, come, bebe: levantaos, príncipes, ungid el escudo.
Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, ye princes, and anoint the shield.
They prepare the table. They set the watch. They eat. They drink. Rise up, you princes, oil the shield!
E na visão o Senhor me disse: “Vá e coloque um vigia no alto do muro da cidade. Diga a ele para anunciar tudo que puder ver.
Porque el Señor me dijo así: Ve, pon centinela que haga saber lo que viere.
For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.
For the Lord said to me, “Go, set a watchman. Let him declare what he sees.
Quando vierem homens montados em jumentos e camelos, andando em duplas, ele deve ficar alerta. É a hora do ataque!”
Y vió un carro de un par de caballeros, un carro de asno, y un carro de camello. Luego miró muy más atentamente.
And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed:
When he sees a troop, horsemen in pairs, a troop of donkeys, a troop of camels, he shall listen diligently with great attentiveness.”
Eu coloquei o vigia sobre o muro da cidade e, finalmente, ele gritou: “Senhor, eu fiquei vigiando nesta torre dia e noite, durante muito tempo.
Y gritó como un león: Señor, sobre la atalaya estoy yo continuamente de día, y las noches enteras sobre mi guarda:
And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights:
He cried like a lion: “Lord, I stand continually on the watchtower in the daytime, and every night I stay at my post.
Agora, atenção! Lá vêm eles! Os cavaleiros que andam em fila de dois!” Depois o vigia disse: “Ela caiu! A Babilônia caiu! Todas as imagens dos falsos deuses da Babilônia estão quebradas, espalhadas pelo chão”.
Y he aquí este carro de hombres viene, un par de caballeros. Después habló, y dijo: Cayó, cayó Babilonia; y todos los ídolos de sus dioses quebrantó en tierra.
And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.
Behold, here comes a troop of men, horsemen in pairs.” He answered, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon; and all the engraved images of her gods are broken to the ground.
Ah, meu povo, perseguido e maltratado como trigo malhado na eira! Eu anunciei a vocês tudo que o Senhor Todo-poderoso, o Deus de Israel, me revelou.
Trilla mía, y paja de mi era: os he dicho lo que oí de Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel.
O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.
You are my threshing, and the grain of my floor!” That which I have heard from the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, I have declared to you.
Esta é a mensagem de Deus contra o povo de Edom: Alguém que vive em Seir grita para mim: “Guarda, que horas da noite já são? Guarda, que horas da noite já são? Quanto tempo nos resta?”
Carga de Duma. Danme voces de Seir: Guarda, ¿qué de la noche? Guarda, ¿qué de la noche?

O guarda responde: “A manhã vai chegar, mas a noite voltará. Se quiserem perguntar de novo, voltem e perguntem”.
El guarda respondió: La mañana viene, y después la noche: si preguntareis, preguntad; volved, venid.
The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.
The watchman said, “The morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire. Come back again.”
Esta é a mensagem contra o povo da Arábia: Dedanitas, vocês que viajam em caravanas, que se escondem nos bosques da Arábia,
Carga sobre Arabia. En el monte tendréis la noche en Arabia, oh caminantes de Dedanim.
The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye travelling companies of Dedanim.
The burden on Arabia. You will lodge in the thickets in Arabia, you caravans of Dedanites.
tragam água para os sedentos. Povo de Temã, tragam comida para os fugitivos.
Salid á encontrar al sediento; llevadle aguas, moradores de tierra de Tema, socorred con su pan al que huye.
The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented with their bread him that fled.
They brought water to him who was thirsty. The inhabitants of the land of Tema met the fugitives with their bread.
Eles estão fugindo da guerra, das espadas prontas para o golpe e das flechas já prontas nos arcos.
Porque de la presencia de las espadas huyen, de la presencia de la espada desnuda, de la presencia del arco entesado, de la presencia del peso de la batalla.
For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent bow, and from the grievousness of war.
For they fled away from the swords, from the drawn sword, from the bent bow, and from the heat of battle.
“Mas daqui a um ano, e nem um dia a mais”, diz o Senhor, “a poderosa tribo de Quedar será destruída.
Porque así me ha dicho Jehová: De aquí á un año, semejante á años de mozo de soldada, toda la gloria de Cedar será deshecha;
For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail:
For the Lord said to me, “Within a year, as a worker bound by contract would count it, all the glory of Kedar will fail,
Somente alguns dos seus valentes flecheiros vão escapar com vida”. O Senhor, o Deus de Israel, falou.
Y las reliquias del número de los valientes flecheros, hijos de Cedar, serán apocadas: porque Jehová Dios de Israel lo ha dicho.
And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the LORD God of Israel hath spoken it.
