CARGA del desierto de la mar. Como los torbellinos que pasan por el desierto en la región del mediodía, así vienen de la tierra horrenda.
The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass through; so it cometh from the desert, from a terrible land.
The burden of the wilderness of the sea. As whirlwinds in the South sweep through, it comes from the wilderness, from an awesome land.
una visión horripilante que me ha sido explicada. El traidor sigue traicionando; el destructor sigue destruyendo. Elamitas y medos, adelante, aataquen y sitien Babilonia, porque estoy poniendo fin a todo el dolor que ha causado.
Visión dura me ha sido mostrada. El prevaricador prevarica, y el destructor destruye. Sube, Persa; cerca, Medo. Todo su gemido hice cesar.
A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.
A grievous vision is declared to me. The treacherous man deals treacherously, and the destroyer destroys. Go up, Elam; attack! I have stopped all of Media’s sighing.
Por ello, mi cuerpo está lleno de agonía. Me abruma el dolor, como el de una mujer que da a luz. Me confunde lo que oigo; me angustia lo que veo.
Por tanto mis lomos se han llenado de dolor; angustias se apoderaron de mí, como angustias de mujer de parto: agobiéme oyendo, y al ver heme espantado.
Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me, as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it.
Therefore my thighs are filled with anguish. Pains have seized me, like the pains of a woman in labor. I am in so much pain that I can’t hear. I am so dismayed that I can’t see.
Mi mente vacila; tiemblo de pánico. La noche que esperaba se ha convertido en algo aterrador.
Pasmóse mi corazón, el horror me ha intimidado; la noche de mi deseo se me tornó en espanto.
My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: the night of my pleasure hath he turned into fear unto me.
My heart flutters. Horror has frightened me. The twilight that I desired has been turned into trembling for me.
Ponen la mesa, extienden las alfombras, comen y beben... “¡Levántense, oficiales! Preparen sus escudos para la batalla!”
Pon la mesa, mira del atalaya, come, bebe: levantaos, príncipes, ungid el escudo.
Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, ye princes, and anoint the shield.
They prepare the table. They set the watch. They eat. They drink. Rise up, you princes, oil the shield!
Esto es lo que me dijo el Señor: “¡Ve! Haz que un vigía vigile, y asegúrate de que informe de lo que ve.
Porque el Señor me dijo así: Ve, pon centinela que haga saber lo que viere.
For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.
For the Lord said to me, “Go, set a watchman. Let him declare what he sees.
Cuando vea que se acercan carros tirados por parejas de caballos, jinetes en asnos y en camellos, que vigile con mucho cuidado, prestando mucha atención”.
Y vió un carro de un par de caballeros, un carro de asno, y un carro de camello. Luego miró muy más atentamente.
And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed:
When he sees a troop, horsemen in pairs, a troop of donkeys, a troop of camels, he shall listen diligently with great attentiveness.”
Entonces el vigía gritó: “Señor, he estado aquí en la atalaya día tras día; noche tras noche he permanecido en mi puesto.
Y gritó como un león: Señor, sobre la atalaya estoy yo continuamente de día, y las noches enteras sobre mi guarda:
And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights:
He cried like a lion: “Lord, I stand continually on the watchtower in the daytime, and every night I stay at my post.
¡Ahora mira! Viene un hombre en un carro con un par de caballos”. Y dijo: “¡Babilonia ha caído, ha caído! Todos los ídolos de sus dioses yacen destrozados en el suelo”.
Y he aquí este carro de hombres viene, un par de caballeros. Después habló, y dijo: Cayó, cayó Babilonia; y todos los ídolos de sus dioses quebrantó en tierra.
And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.
Behold, here comes a troop of men, horsemen in pairs.” He answered, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon; and all the engraved images of her gods are broken to the ground.
Mi pobre pueblo oprimido y tan maltratado, les he contado lo que he oído del Señor Todopoderoso, el Dios de Israel.
Trilla mía, y paja de mi era: os he dicho lo que oí de Jehová de los ejércitos, Dios de Israel.
O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.
You are my threshing, and the grain of my floor!” That which I have heard from the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, I have declared to you.
Un mensaje sobre Edom. Una voz me llama desde Seir, preguntando: “Vigilante, ¿qué hora es? Vigilante, ¿qué hora de la noche es?”
Carga de Duma. Danme voces de Seir: Guarda, ¿qué de la noche? Guarda, ¿qué de la noche?
The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?
The burden of Dumah. One calls to me out of Seir, “Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?”
El vigilante responde: “La mañana está llegando, pero pronto volverá la noche. Si quieres volver a preguntar, vuelve y pregunta”.
El guarda respondió: La mañana viene, y después la noche: si preguntareis, preguntad; volved, venid.
The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.
The watchman said, “The morning comes, and also the night. If you will inquire, inquire. Come back again.”
Un mensaje sobre Arabia. Caravanas de Dedán, pasen la noche en los arbustos.
Carga sobre Arabia. En el monte tendréis la noche en Arabia, oh caminantes de Dedanim.
The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye travelling companies of Dedanim.
The burden on Arabia. You will lodge in the thickets in Arabia, you caravans of Dedanites.
Pueblo de Tema, lleven agua a los sedientos, salid al encuentro de los refugiados con comida.
Salid á encontrar al sediento; llevadle aguas, moradores de tierra de Tema, socorred con su pan al que huye.
The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was thirsty, they prevented with their bread him that fled.
They brought water to him who was thirsty. The inhabitants of the land of Tema met the fugitives with their bread.
Huyen de una batalla feroz, de espadas, de espadas desenvainadas, de arcos y flechas.
Porque de la presencia de las espadas huyen, de la presencia de la espada desnuda, de la presencia del arco entesado, de la presencia del peso de la batalla.

Esto es lo que me dijo el Señor: “Dentro de un año, igual que un trabajador contratado cuenta exactamente los años, toda la gloria de Cedar desaparecerá.
Porque así me ha dicho Jehová: De aquí á un año, semejante á años de mozo de soldada, toda la gloria de Cedar será deshecha;
For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail:
For the Lord said to me, “Within a year, as a worker bound by contract would count it, all the glory of Kedar will fail,
Sólo quedarán unos pocos de los arqueros, los guerreros de Cedar”. El Señor, el Dios de Israel, ha hablado.
Y las reliquias del número de los valientes flecheros, hijos de Cedar, serán apocadas: porque Jehová Dios de Israel lo ha dicho.
And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the LORD God of Israel hath spoken it.
and the residue of the number of the archers, the mighty men of the children of Kedar, will be few; for the LORD, the God of Israel, has spoken it.”
