A cidade virou uma grande confusão! O que aconteceu com esta cidade movimentada e alegre? Há cadáveres espalhados por toda parte! E toda essa gente não morreu na guerra!
Tú, llena de alborotos, ciudad turbulenta, ciudad alegre; tus muertos no son muertos á cuchillo, ni muertos en guerra.
Thou that art full of stirs, a tumultuous city, a joyous city: thy slain men are not slain with the sword, nor dead in battle.
You that are full of shouting, a tumultuous city, a joyous town, your slain are not slain with the sword, neither are they dead in battle.
Todas as autoridades de Jerusalém estão fugindo; entregam-se ao inimigo sem lutar. Os que tentaram fugir foram apanhados e estão presos.
Todos tus príncipes juntos huyeron del arco, fueron atados: todos los que en ti se hallaron, fueron atados juntamente, aunque lejos se habían huído.
All thy rulers are fled together, they are bound by the archers: all that are found in thee are bound together, which have fled from far.
All your rulers fled away together. They were bound by the archers. All who were found by you were bound together. They fled far away.
Por isso tudo, eu peço: Deixem-me sozinho; deixem-me chorar amargamente. Não tentem me consolar por causa da destruição do meu povo.
Por esto dije: Dejadme, lloraré amargamente; no os afanéis por consolarme de la destrucción de la hija de mi pueblo.
Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.

Pois o Soberano, o Senhor Todo-poderoso, enviou um dia de muito sofrimento, confusão e derrota no vale da Visão. As muralhas de Jerusalém estão cheias de grandes buracos, e a gritaria é tanta que chega até os morros fora da cidade.
Porque día es de alboroto, y de huella, y de fatiga por el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos en el valle de la visión, para derribar el muro, y dar grita al monte.
For it is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord GOD of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the mountains.
For it is a day of confusion, and of treading down, and of perplexity from the Lord, GOD of Armies, in the valley of vision, a breaking down of the walls, and a crying to the mountains.”
Esse grande exército avança com seus carros e cavalos: são os arqueiros do país de Elão, e os que carregam os escudos vieram da terra de Quir.

Os vales férteis de Judá ficaram cheios de carros de guerra; a cavalaria inimiga tomou posição junto às portas das cidades.
Y acaeció que tus hermosos valles fueron llenos de carros, y los de á caballo acamparon á la puerta.
And it shall come to pass, that thy choicest valleys shall be full of chariots, and the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.

A terra de Judá está indefesa diante do inimigo. Em Jerusalém, os soldados correm ao depósito de armas guardadas no salão da Floresta!
Y desnudó la cobertura de Judá; y miraste en aquel día hacia la casa de armas del bosque.
And he discovered the covering of Judah, and thou didst look in that day to the armour of the house of the forest.
He took away the covering of Judah; and you looked in that day to the armor in the house of the forest.
As autoridades examinaram os buracos nos muros da Cidade de Davi e encheram de água o açude inferior que ficava dentro da cidade.
Y visteis las roturas de la ciudad de David, que se multiplicaron; y recogisteis las aguas de la pesquera de abajo.
Ye have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool.
You saw the breaches of David’s city, that they were many; and you gathered together the waters of the lower pool.
Examinaram as casas de Jerusalém e mandaram derrubar algumas casas e com essas pedras consertaram os muros.
Y contasteis las casas de Jerusalem, y derribasteis casas para fortificar el muro.
And ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have ye broken down to fortify the wall.
You counted the houses of Jerusalem, and you broke down the houses to fortify the wall.
Vocês construíram um reservatório especial, entre o muro interno e o externo, para guardar a água que vinha do açude de baixo. Mas todos esses planos vão falhar, porque vocês não olharam para cima, para aquele que há muito tempo havia planejado todas essas coisas!
E hicisteis foso entre los dos muros con las aguas de la pesquera vieja: y no tuvisteis respeto al que la hizo, ni mirasteis de lejos al que la labró.
Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.
You also made a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the old pool. But you didn’t look to him who had done this, neither did you have respect for him who planned it long ago.
Naquele dia, o Soberano, o Senhor Todo-poderoso, pediu que vocês se arrependessem; vocês deviam chorar, gemer, rapar a cabeça e usar vestes de lamento como sinal de tristeza por causa de seus pecados.
Por tanto el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos llamó en este día á llanto y á endechas, á mesar y á vestir saco.
And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:
In that day, the Lord, GOD of Armies, called to weeping, to mourning, to baldness, and to dressing in sackcloth;
Mas, em vez disso, o que é que vocês fizeram? Vocês cantaram, brincaram e se divertiram. Houve grande júbilo e alegria, abate de gado e matança de ovelhas. Vocês comeram e beberam vinho à vontade. E vocês diziam: “Vamos comer, beber e nos divertir! Afinal, vamos morrer amanhã!”
Y he aquí gozo y alegría, matando vacas y degollando ovejas, comer carne y beber vino, diciendo: Comamos y bebamos, que mañana moriremos.
And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die.
and behold, there is joy and gladness, killing cattle and killing sheep, eating meat and drinking wine: “Let’s eat and drink, for tomorrow we will die.”
O Senhor Todo-poderoso me revelou o seguinte: “Esse terrível pecado não será perdoado até o dia em que vocês morrerem. Eu, o Soberano, o Senhor Todo-poderoso, falei”.
Esto fué revelado á mis oídos de parte de Jehová de los ejércitos: Que este pecado no os será perdonado hasta que muráis, dice el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos.
And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
The LORD of Armies revealed himself in my ears, “Surely this iniquity will not be forgiven you until you die,” says the Lord, GOD of Armies.
Depois disso, o Soberano, o Senhor Todo-poderoso, me disse: Isaías, vá dizer o seguinte a Sebna, o administrador do palácio:
Jehová de los ejércitos dice así: Ve, entra á este tesorero, á Sebna el mayordomo, y dile:
Thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say,
The Lord, GOD of Armies says, “Go, get yourself to this treasurer, even to Shebna, who is over the house, and say,
O que você faz aqui, e quem lhe deu permissão para mandar talhar um túmulo na rocha, um lugar de descanso, no lugar mais alto do monte?
¿Qué tienes tú aquí, ó á quién tienes tú aquí, que labraste aquí sepulcro para ti, como el que en lugar alto labra su sepultura, ó el que esculpe para sí morada en una peña?
What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?
‘What are you doing here? Who has you here, that you have dug out a tomb here?’ Cutting himself out a tomb on high, chiseling a habitation for himself in the rock!”
Fique sabendo que o Senhor vai arrancar você da sua posição importante e jogá-lo para bem longe.
He aquí que Jehová te trasportará en duro cautiverio, y de cierto te cubrirá el rostro.
Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee.
Behold, the LORD will overcome you and hurl you away violently. Yes, he will grasp you firmly.
Ele apanhará você e o lançará numa terra seca que fica muito longe daqui. E lá você vai morrer, perto dos seus carros de guerra que o enchiam tanto de orgulho, e você será uma vergonha para a casa do seu senhor!
Te echará á rodar con ímpetu, como á bola por tierra larga de términos: allá morirás, y allá estarán los carros de tu gloria, oh vergüenza de la casa de tu señor.
He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord’s house.
He will surely wind you around and around, and throw you like a ball into a large country. There you will die, and there the chariots of your glory will be, you disgrace of your lord’s house.
Eu vou tirá-lo do seu cargo, vou fazer você cair de sua alta posição.
Y arrojarte he de tu lugar, y de tu puesto te empujaré.
And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down.
I will thrust you from your office. You will be pulled down from your station.
Naquele dia chamarei o meu servo Eliaquim, o filho de Hilquias.
Y será que, en aquel día, llamaré á mi siervo Eliacim, hijo de Hilcías;
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:
It will happen in that day that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah,
Darei a ele as roupas oficiais que você usou. Eu lhe darei o cinto que você usava e passarei para ele a autoridade que você tem. Ele será um pai para o povo de Jerusalém e para os moradores de Judá.
Y vestirélo de tus vestiduras, y le fortaleceré con tu talabarte, y entregaré en sus manos tu potestad; y será padre al morador de Jerusalem, y á la casa de Judá.
And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
and I will clothe him with your robe, and strengthen him with your belt. I will commit your government into his hand; and he will be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
Colocarei a chave da casa de Davi sobre o seu ombro. O que ele abrir ninguém fechará, e o que ele fechar ninguém abrirá.
Y pondré la llave de la casa de David sobre su hombro; y abrirá, y nadie cerrará; cerrará, y nadie abrirá.
And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
I will lay the key of David’s house on his shoulder. He will open, and no one will shut. He will shut, and no one will open.
Eu farei dele um apoio seguro para todo o meu povo como uma estaca que foi fincada firmemente no chão; ele será como um trono de honra para a casa de seu pai.
E hincarélo como clavo en lugar firme; y será por asiento de honra á la casa de su padre.
And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house.
I will fasten him like a nail in a sure place. He will be for a throne of glory to his father’s house.
Toda a glória de sua família dependerá dele: desde o mais importante até o mais humilde. Todos vão confiar totalmente nele para proteção das famílias e das coisas que possuem. Ele será o orgulho de sua família!
Y colgarán de él toda la honra de la casa de su padre, los hijos y los nietos, todos los vasos menores, desde los vasos de beber hasta todos los instrumentos de música.
And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.
They will hang on him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, every small vessel, from the cups even to all the pitchers.
“Naquele dia”, diz o Senhor Todo-poderoso, “a estaca fincada em chão firme cairá, e tudo que se apoiava nela cairá junto com ela”. Pois o Senhor declarou.
En aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, el clavo hincado en lugar firme será quitado, y será quebrado y caerá; y la carga que sobre él se puso, se echará á perder; porque Jehová habló.
In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
“In that day,” says the LORD of Armies, “the nail that was fastened in a sure place will give way. It will be cut down and fall. The burden that was on it will be cut off, for the LORD has spoken it.”
