Todos tus magnates de común acuerdo huyeron y fueron atados cruelmente; todos los que han sido encontrados han sido encadenados juntos, y desterrados lejos.
Tú, llena de alborotos, ciudad turbulenta, ciudad alegre; tus muertos no son muertos á cuchillo, ni muertos en guerra.
Thou that art full of stirs, a tumultuous city, a joyous city: thy slain men are not slain with the sword, nor dead in battle.
You that are full of shouting, a tumultuous city, a joyous town, your slain are not slain with the sword, neither are they dead in battle.
Por eso dije: Apartaos de mí; yo lloraré amargamente; no os empeñéis en consolarme en la desolación de la hija de mi pueblo;
Todos tus príncipes juntos huyeron del arco, fueron atados: todos los que en ti se hallaron, fueron atados juntamente, aunque lejos se habían huído.
All thy rulers are fled together, they are bound by the archers: all that are found in thee are bound together, which have fled from far.
All your rulers fled away together. They were bound by the archers. All who were found by you were bound together. They fled far away.
porque día es este de mortandad, y de devastación, y de gemidos, prefijado por el Señor Dios de los ejércitos para el valle de la Visión; él va socavando en busca de los cimientos de la muralla, y hace ostensión de su gloria sobre el monte.
Por esto dije: Dejadme, lloraré amargamente; no os afanéis por consolarme de la destrucción de la hija de mi pueblo.
Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.

Y el elamita ha tomado consigo la aljaba y el carro de guerra para el caballero, y ha descolgado de la pared el escudo.

For it is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord GOD of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the mountains.

Y habéis contado las casas de Jerusalén , y habéis demolido algunas para fortificar las murallas,

y habéis hecho un foso entre los dos muros para recoger el agua de la piscina vieja; y no habéis alzado los ojos al Creador de ella, ni siquiera de lejos habéis mirado al que la hizo.

Y el Señor Dios de los ejércitos os llamará aquel día a llanto y a gemidos, y a raer la cabeza, y a vestiros de saco.
E hicisteis foso entre los dos muros con las aguas de la pesquera vieja: y no tuvisteis respeto al que la hizo, ni mirasteis de lejos al que la labró.
Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.

Y ha sido revelada a mis oídos esta voz del Señor de los ejércitos: No, no se os perdonará esa iniquidad hasta que muráis, dice el Señor Dios de los ejércitos.
Y he aquí gozo y alegría, matando vacas y degollando ovejas, comer carne y beber vino, diciendo: Comamos y bebamos, que mañana moriremos.
And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die.
and behold, there is joy and gladness, killing cattle and killing sheep, eating meat and drinking wine: “Let’s eat and drink, for tomorrow we will die.”
El Señor Dios de los ejércitos dice también: Ve a encontrar a aquel que habita en el Tabernáculo, a Sobna, digo, prefecto del templo y le dirás:
Esto fué revelado á mis oídos de parte de Jehová de los ejércitos: Que este pecado no os será perdonado hasta que muráis, dice el Señor Jehová de los ejércitos.
And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.
The LORD of Armies revealed himself in my ears, “Surely this iniquity will not be forgiven you until you die,” says the Lord, GOD of Armies.
¿Qué haces aquí tú?, ¿o a quién representas tú aquí?; tú, que te has preparado aquí un sepulcro, que has hecho celebrar con gran esmero un monumento en lugar alto, un Tabernáculo en la peña.
Jehová de los ejércitos dice así: Ve, entra á este tesorero, á Sebna el mayordomo, y dile:
Thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say,
The Lord, GOD of Armies says, “Go, get yourself to this treasurer, even to Shebna, who is over the house, and say,
Pues sábete que el Señor hará que te lleven de aquí, como es llevado atado el gallo de un gallinero, y como se lleva a un hombre criminal con la cara cubierta.
¿Qué tienes tú aquí, ó á quién tienes tú aquí, que labraste aquí sepulcro para ti, como el que en lugar alto labra su sepultura, ó el que esculpe para sí morada en una peña?
What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?
‘What are you doing here? Who has you here, that you have dug out a tomb here?’ Cutting himself out a tomb on high, chiseling a habitation for himself in the rock!”
Te coronará con corona de abrojos, te arrojará como pelota en plaza ancha y espaciosa; allí morirás tú, que eres la deshonra de la casa del Señor, y allí parará la carroza de tu gloria.
He aquí que Jehová te trasportará en duro cautiverio, y de cierto te cubrirá el rostro.
Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee.
Behold, the LORD will overcome you and hurl you away violently. Yes, he will grasp you firmly.
Yo te echaré de tu puesto, y te depondré de tu ministerio.
Te echará á rodar con ímpetu, como á bola por tierra larga de términos: allá morirás, y allá estarán los carros de tu gloria, oh vergüenza de la casa de tu señor.
He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord’s house.
He will surely wind you around and around, and throw you like a ball into a large country. There you will die, and there the chariots of your glory will be, you disgrace of your lord’s house.
Y aquel día llamaré a mi siervo Eliacim, hijo de Helcías.
Y arrojarte he de tu lugar, y de tu puesto te empujaré.
And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down.
I will thrust you from your office. You will be pulled down from your station.
Y lo revestiré de tu túnica, y lo adornaré con tu cinturón, y en sus manos pondré tu autoridad, y él será como padre para los moradores de Jerusalén y para la casa de Judá.
Y será que, en aquel día, llamaré á mi siervo Eliacim, hijo de Hilcías;
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:

Y pondré sobre sus hombros la llave de la casa de David; y abrirá, y no habrá quien pueda cerrar; y cerrará, y no habrá quien pueda abrir.
Y vestirélo de tus vestiduras, y le fortaleceré con tu talabarte, y entregaré en sus manos tu potestad; y será padre al morador de Jerusalem, y á la casa de Judá.
And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.

Y lo colocaré como clavo hincado en lugar firme; y él será como trono de gloria para la casa de su padre.
Y pondré la llave de la casa de David sobre su hombro; y abrirá, y nadie cerrará; cerrará, y nadie abrirá.
And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
I will lay the key of David’s house on his shoulder. He will open, and no one will shut. He will shut, and no one will open.
De él colgará toda la gloria de la casa de su padre, alhajas de varias clases, vasos pequeños de toda especie, desde las tasas finas hasta todo instrumento de música.
E hincarélo como clavo en lugar firme; y será por asiento de honra á la casa de su padre.
And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house.
I will fasten him like a nail in a sure place. He will be for a throne of glory to his father’s house.
Aquel día, pues, dice el Señor de los ejércitos, será arrancado el clavo que fue hincado en lugar firme, y será quebrado; y andará rodando por el suelo, y perecerá todo lo que de él estaba colgado: Porque así lo ha dicho el Señor.
Y colgarán de él toda la honra de la casa de su padre, los hijos y los nietos, todos los vasos menores, desde los vasos de beber hasta todos los instrumentos de música.
And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father’s house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.

Duro anuncio contra Tiro. Prorrumpid en aullidos naves del mar; porque desolada ha sido la casa, o ciudad, de donde acostumbraban hacerse a la vela. De la tierra de Cetim les ha venido el aviso.
En aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, el clavo hincado en lugar firme será quitado, y será quebrado y caerá; y la carga que sobre él se puso, se echará á perder; porque Jehová habló.
In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
“In that day,” says the LORD of Armies, “the nail that was fastened in a sure place will give way. It will be cut down and fall. The burden that was on it will be cut off, for the LORD has spoken it.”
