Passa fuori del tuo paese, come un rivo, o figliuola di Tarsis; non vi è più cintura.

Pasa cual río de tu tierra, oh hija de Tarsis; porque no tendrás ya más fortaleza.

Pass through thy land as a river, O daughter of Tarshish: there is no more strength.

Pass through your land like the Nile, daughter of Tarshish. There is no restraint any more.
