Prendi la cetra, va’ attorno per la città, o meretrice dimenticata, suona bene, moltiplica i canti, perché qualcuno si ricordi di te.

Toma arpa, y rodea la ciudad, oh ramera olvidada: haz buena melodía, reitera la canción, porque tornes en memoria.
