La terra fa cordoglio, ed è scaduta; il mondo langue, ed è scaduto; i più eccelsi del popolo del paese languiscono.

Destruyóse, cayó la tierra; enfermó, cayó el mundo; enfermaron los altos pueblos de la tierra.

The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.

The earth mourns and fades away. The world languishes and fades away. The lofty people of the earth languish.
