Bendito seas, porque has convertido en escombros la ciudad: La ciudad poderosa, el alcázar de hombres extranjeros en un montón de ruinas, para que cese de ser ciudad, y nunca jamás será reedificada.
JEHOVÁ, tú eres mi Dios: te ensalzaré, alabaré tu nombre; porque has hecho maravillas, los consejos antiguos, la verdad firme.
O LORD, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
The LORD, you are my God. I will exalt you! I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago, in complete faithfulness and truth.
Por esto te tributará alabanzas el pueblo fuerte, te temerá la nueva Jerusalén , la ciudad de las gentes valerosas.
Que tornaste la ciudad en montón, la ciudad fuerte en ruina: el alcázar de los extraños que no sea ciudad, ni nunca jamás sea reedeficada.
For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.
For you have made a city into a heap, a fortified city into a ruin, a palace of strangers to be no city. It will never be built.
Porque tú has sido fortaleza para el menesteroso en su tribulación; su esperanza en la tormenta; su refrigerio en el ardor; pues el ímpetu u orgullo de los poderosos es como un torbellino que hace bambolear una pared.
Por esto te dará gloria el pueblo fuerte, te temerá la ciudad de gentes robustas.
Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.
Therefore a strong people will glorify you. A city of awesome nations will fear you.
Tú abatirás la arrogancia de los extranjeros a la manera que abate el sol ardiente en medio de una sequedad; y como ardor de nube abrasadora, harás secar los renuevos de esos prepotentes.
Porque fuiste fortaleza al pobre, fortaleza al menesteroso en su aflicción, amparo contra el turbión, sombra contra el calor: porque el ímpetu de los violentos es como turbión contra frontispicio.
For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

Y el Señor de los ejércitos, a todos los pueblos fieles les dará en este monte de la nueva Sión un convite de manjares mantecosos, un convite de vendimia o vinos exquisitos, de carnes gordas y de mucha sustancia, de vinos puros sin mezcla.
Como el calor en lugar seco, así humillarás el orgullo de los extraños; y como calor debajo de nube, harás marchitar el pimpollo de los robustos.
Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.
As the heat in a dry place you will bring down the noise of strangers; as the heat by the shade of a cloud, the song of the dreaded ones will be brought low.
Y en este monte romperá las cadenas que tenían aprisionados a todos los pueblos, y las redes tendidas contra todas las naciones.
Y Jehová de los ejércitos hará en este monte á todos los pueblos convite de engordados, convite de purificados, de gruesos tuétanos, de purificados líquidos.
And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
In this mountain, the LORD of Armies will make all peoples a feast of choice meat, a feast of choice wines, of choice meat full of marrow, of well refined choice wines.
Y abismará la muerte para siempre, y el Señor Dios enjugará las lágrimas de todos los rostros, y borrará de toda la tierra el oprobio de su pueblo, porque así lo ha pronunciado el Señor.
Y deshará en este monte la máscara de la cobertura con que están cubiertos todos los pueblos, y la cubierta que está extendida sobre todas las gentes.
And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

Y dirá el pueblo de Dios en aquel día: Verdaderamente que éste es nuestro Dios; en él hemos esperado, y él nos salvará; éste es el Señor nuestro, nos hemos mantenido en la esperanza y ahora nos regocijaremos; y en la salud que viene de él nos holgaremos.
Destruirá á la muerte para siempre; y enjugará el Señor toda lágrima de todos los rostros: y quitará la afrenta de su pueblo de toda la tierra: porque Jehová lo ha dicho.
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

Porque reposará la mano del Señor sobre este monte santo de Sión, y debajo de él será desmenuzado Moab y demás enemigos nuestros, así como la paja que se trilla debajo de un carro falcado.
Y se dirá en aquel día: He aquí éste es nuestro Dios, le hemos esperado, y nos salvará: éste es Jehová á quien hemos esperado, nos gozaremos y nos alegraremos en su salud.
And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Y extenderá sus brazos debajo del carro como las extiende un nadador para escapar a nado; pero el Señor abatirá su altivez, rompiéndole los brazos.
Porque la mano de Jehová reposará en este monte, y Moab será trillado debajo de él, como es trillada la paja en el muladar.
For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.
For the LORD’s hand will rest in this mountain. Moab will be trodden down in his place, even like straw is trodden down in the water of the dunghill.
Y caerán ¡oh Moab!, los baluartes de tus altos muros, y serán abatidos, y echados a tierra, y reducidos a polvo.
Y extenderá su mano por en medio de él, como la extiende el nadador para nadar: y abatirá su soberbia con los miembros de sus manos:
And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.
He will spread out his hands in the middle of it, like one who swims spreads out hands to swim, but his pride will be humbled together with the craft of his hands.
Aquel día será cantado este cántico en tierra de Judá: Sión es nuestra ciudad fuerte, el salvador será para ella muro y antemural.
Y allanará la fortaleza de tus altos muros: la humillará y echará á tierra, hasta el polvo.
And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.
He has brought the high fortress of your walls down, laid low, and brought to the ground, even to the dust.
