Isaías 27

Denn die feste Stadt muß einsam werden, die schonen Hauser verstoßen und verlassen werden wie eine Wüste, daß Kalber daselbst weiden und ruhen und daselbst Reiser abfressen.

Porque la ciudad fortalecida será asolada, la morada será desamparada y dejada como un desierto: allí se apacentará el becerro, allí tendrá su majada, y acabará sus ramas.

Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.

For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness. The calf will feed there, and there he will lie down, and consume its branches.
