Isaías 27

Car la ville forte est devenue une solitude, une demeure délaissée et abandonnée, comme le désert ; là paissent les veaux ; ils s'y couchent et broutent les rameaux.

Porque la ciudad fortalecida será asolada, la morada será desamparada y dejada como un desierto: allí se apacentará el becerro, allí tendrá su majada, y acabará sus ramas.

Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.

For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation deserted and forsaken, like the wilderness. The calf will feed there, and there he will lie down, and consume its branches.
