Isaías 28

GUAI alla corona della superbia degli ubbriachi di Efraim; la gloria della cui magnificenza è un fiore che si appassa; i quali abitano nel sommo delle valli grasse, e sono storditi di vino!

¡AY de la corona de soberbia, de los ebrios de Ephraim, y de la flor caduca de la hermosura de su gloria, que está sobre la cabeza del valle fértil de los aturdidos del vino!

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!

Woe to the crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim, and to the fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fertile valley of those who are overcome with wine!

Ecco, il Signore ha appo sè un uomo forte e potente, che sarà come un nembo di gragnuola, come un turbo fracassante; egli atterrerà ogni cosa con la mano, a guisa d'una piena di grandi acque traboccanti.

He aquí Jehová tiene un fuerte y poderoso: como turbión de granizo y como torbellino trastornador; como ímpetu de recias aguas que inundan, con fuerza derriba á tierra.

Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

Behold, the Lord has one who is mighty and strong. Like a storm of hail, a destroying storm, and like a storm of mighty waters overflowing, he will cast them down to the earth with his hand.

La corona della superbia, gli ubbriachi di Efraim, saranno calpestati co' piedi;

Con los pies será hollada la corona de soberbia de los borrachos de Ephraim;

The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:

The crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim will be trodden under foot.

e la gloria della magnificenza di colui che abita nel sommo delle valli grasse, sarà come un fiore che si appassa; come un frutto primaticcio avanti la state, il qual tosto che alcuno ha veduto, lo trangugia, come prima l'ha in mano.

Y será la flor caduca de la hermosura de su gloria que está sobre la cabeza del valle fértil, como la fruta temprana, la primera del verano, la cual, en viéndola el que la mira, se la traga tan luego como la tiene á mano.

And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.

The fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fertile valley, shall be like the first-ripe fig before the summer, which someone picks and eats as soon as he sees it.

In quel giorno il Signor degli eserciti sarà per corona di gloria, e per benda di magnificenza, al rimanente del suo popolo;

En aquel día Jehová de los ejércitos será por corona de gloria y diadema de hermosura á las reliquias de su pueblo;

In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,

In that day, the LORD of Armies will become a crown of glory and a diadem of beauty to the residue of his people,

e sarà per ispirito di giudicio a colui che siede sopra il seggio del giudicio; e per forza a quelli che fanno nella battaglia voltar le spalle a' nemici fino alla porta.

Y por espíritu de juicio al que se sentare en juicio, y por fortaleza á los que harán tornar la batalla hasta la puerta.

And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

and a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.

Or anche costoro si sono invaghiti del vino, e son traviati nella cervogia; il sacerdote e il profeta si sono invaghiti della cervogia, sono stati perduti per lo vino, e traviati per la cervogia; hanno errato nella visione, si sono intoppati nel giudicio.

Mas también éstos erraron con el vino, y con la sidra se entontecieron; el sacerdote y el profeta erraron con la sidra, fueron trastornados del vino, aturdiéronse con la sidra, erraron en la visión, tropezaron en el juicio.

But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

They also reel with wine, and stagger with strong drink. The priest and the prophet reel with strong drink. They are swallowed up by wine. They stagger with strong drink. They err in vision. They stumble in judgment.

Perciocchè tutte le tavole son piene di vomito e di lordure; non vi è più luogo netto.

Porque todas las mesas están llenas de vómito y suciedad, hasta no haber lugar limpio.

For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

For all tables are completely full of filthy vomit and filthiness.

A cui s'insegnerebbe la scienza, ed a cui si farebbe intender la dottrina? costoro son come bambini spoppati, svezzati dalle mammelle.

¿A quién se enseñará ciencia, ó á quién se hará entender doctrina? ¿A los quitados de la leche? ¿á los arrancados de los pechos?

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

Whom will he teach knowledge? To whom will he explain the message? Those who are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts?

Perciocchè bisogna dar loro insegnamento dopo insegnamento, insegnamento dopo insegnamento; linea dopo linea, linea dopo linea; un poco qui, un poco là.

Porque mandamiento tras mandamiento, mandato sobre mandato, renglón tras renglón, línea sobre línea, un poquito allí, otro poquito allá:

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

For it is precept on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, there a little.

Conciossiachè Iddio parli a questo popolo con labbra balbettanti, e in lingua straniera.

Porque en lengua de tartamudos, y en extraña lengua hablará á este pueblo,

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

But he will speak to this nation with stammering lips and in another language,

Perciocchè egli avea lor detto: Questo è il riposo; date riposo allo stanco; questa è la quiete; ma essi non hanno voluto ascoltare.

A los cuales él dijo: Este es el reposo: dad reposo al cansado; y éste es el refrigerio: mas no quisieron oir.

To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

to whom he said, “This is the resting place. Give rest to the weary,” and “This is the refreshing;” yet they would not hear.

La parola del Signore adunque sarà loro a guisa d'insegnamento dopo insegnamento, d'insegnamento dopo insegnamento; di linea dopo linea, di linea dopo linea; un poco qui, un poco là; acciocchè vadano, e cadano a ritroso, e sieno fiaccati, e sieno allacciati, e presi.

La palabra pues de Jehová les será mandamiento tras mandamiento, mandato sobre mandato, renglón tras renglón, línea sobre línea, un poquito allí, otro poquito allá; que vayan y caigan de espaldas, y sean quebrantados, y enlazados, y presos.

But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Therefore the LORD’s word will be to them precept on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, there a little; that they may go, fall backward, be broken, be snared, and be taken.

Perciò, ascoltate la parola del Signore, uomini schernitori, che signoreggiate questo popolo, che è in Gerusalemme.

Por tanto, varones burladores, que estáis enseñoreados sobre este pueblo que está en Jerusalem, oid la palabra de Jehová.

Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.

Therefore hear the LORD’s word, you scoffers, that rule this people in Jerusalem:

Perciocchè voi avete detto: Noi abbiam fatto patto con la morte, ed abbiam fatta lega col sepolcro; quando il flagello inondante passerà, egli non giungerà infino a noi; conciossiachè noi abbiam posta la menzogna per nostro ricetto, e ci siam nascosti nella falsità;

Porque habéis dicho: Concierto tenemos hecho con la muerte, é hicimos acuerdo con la sepultura; cuando pasare el turbión del azote, no llegará á nosotros, pues que hemos puesto nuestra acogida en la mentira, y en la falsedad nos esconderemos:

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

“Because you have said, ‘We have made a covenant with death, and we are in agreement with Sheol. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it won’t come to us; for we have made lies our refuge, and we have hidden ourselves under falsehood.’”

perciò, così ha detto il Signore Iddio: Ecco, io son quel che ho posta in Sion una pietra, una pietra a prova, pietra di cantone preziosa, un fondamento ben fondato; chi crederà non si smarrirà.

Por tanto, el Señor Jehová dice así: He aquí que yo fundo en Sión una piedra, piedra de fortaleza, de esquina, de precio, de cimiento estable: el que creyere, no se apresure.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

Therefore the Lord GOD says, “Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious cornerstone of a sure foundation. He who believes shall not act hastily.

E metterò il giudicio al regolo, e la giustizia al livello; e la gragnuola spazzerà via il ricetto di menzogna, e le acque ne inonderanno il nascondimento.

Y ajustaré el juicio á cordel, y á nivel la justicia; y granizo barrerá la acogida de la mentira, y aguas arrollarán el escondrijo.

Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plumb line. The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place.

E il vostro patto con la morte sarà annullato, e la vostra lega col sepolcro non sarà ferma; quando il flagello inondante passerà, voi ne sarete calpestati.

Y será anulado vuestro concierto con la muerte, y vuestro acuerdo con el sepulcro no será firme: cuando pasare el turbión del azote, seréis de él hollados.

And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

Your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol shall not stand. When the overflowing scourge passes through, then you will be trampled down by it.

Da che passerà, egli vi porterà via; perciocchè passerà mattina dopo mattina, di giorno e di notte; e il sentirne il grido non produrrà altro che commovimento.

Luego que comenzare á pasar, él os arrebatará; porque de mañana de mañana pasará, de día y de noche; y será que el espanto solamente haga entender lo oído.

From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

As often as it passes through, it will seize you; for morning by morning it will pass through, by day and by night; and it will be nothing but terror to understand the message.”

Perciocchè il letto sarà troppo corto, da potervisi distender dentro; e la coverta troppo stretta, per avvilupparsene.

Porque la cama es tan angosta que no basta, y la cubierta estrecha para recoger.

For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.

For the bed is too short to stretch out on, and the blanket is too narrow to wrap oneself in.

Perciocchè il Signore si leverà, come nel monte di Perasim, e si commoverà come nella valle di Gabaon, per far la sua opera, la sua opera strana; e per eseguire la sua operazione, la sua operazione straordinaria.

Porque Jehová se levantará como en el monte Perasim, como en el valle de Gabaón se enojará; para hacer su obra, su extraña obra, y para hacer su operación, su extraña operación.

For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.

For the LORD will rise up as on Mount Perazim. He will be angry as in the valley of Gibeon; that he may do his work, his unusual work, and bring to pass his act, his extraordinary act.

Ora dunque, non vi fate beffe; che talora i vostri legami non sieno rinforzati; perciocchè io ho udita da parte del Signore Iddio degli eserciti una sentenza finale, ed una determinazione contro a tutto il paese.

Ahora pues, no os burléis, porque no se aprieten más vuestras ataduras: porque consumación y acabamiento sobre toda la tierra he oído del Señor Jehová de los ejércitos.

Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.

Now therefore don’t be scoffers, lest your bonds be made strong; for I have heard a decree of destruction from the Lord, GOD of Armies, on the whole earth.

Porgete le orecchie, ed ascoltate la mia voce; state attenti, ed ascoltate il mio ragionamento.

Estad atentos, y oid mi voz; estad atentos, y oid mi dicho.

Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

Give ear, and hear my voice! Listen, and hear my speech!

L'aratore ara egli ogni giorno per seminare? non rompe, e non erpica egli la sua terra?

El que ara para sembrar, ¿arará todo el día; romperá y quebrará los terrones de la tierra?

Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?

Does he who plows to sow plow continually? Does he keep turning the soil and breaking the clods?

Quando ne ha appianato il disopra, non vi sparge egli la veccia, e non vi semina egli il comino, e non vi pone egli il frumento a certa misura, e l'orzo a certi segni, e la spelta nel suo proprio spazio?

Después que hubiere igualado su superficie, ¿no derramará la neguilla, sembrará el comino, pondrá el trigo por su orden, y la cebada en su señal, y la avena en su término?

When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?

When he has leveled its surface, doesn’t he plant the dill, and scatter the cumin seed, and put in the wheat in rows, the barley in the appointed place, and the spelt in its place?

E l'Iddio suo l'ammaestra, e gl'insegna l'ordine che deve guardare.

Porque su Dios le instruye, y le enseña á juicio;

For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.

For his God instructs him in right judgment and teaches him.

Conciossiachè non si trebbi la veccia con la trebbia, e non si ravvolga la ruota del carro sopra il comino; anzi si scuote la veccia con la bacchetta, e il comino con la mazza.

Que la neguilla no se trillará con trillo, ni sobre el comino rodará rueda de carreta; sino que con un palo se sacude la neguilla, y el comino con una vara.

For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.

For the dill isn’t threshed with a sharp instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned over the cumin; but the dill is beaten out with a stick, and the cumin with a rod.

Ma il frumento è trebbiato; perciocchè altrimenti egli non lo batterebbe giammai abbastanza. Così lo trebbia con le ruote del suo carro, ma non lo frange già coi denti del suo rastrello.

El pan se trilla; mas no siempre lo trillará, ni lo comprimirá con la rueda de su carreta, ni lo quebrantará con los dientes de su trillo.

Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.

Bread flour must be ground; so he will not always be threshing it. Although he drives the wheel of his threshing cart over it, his horses don’t grind it.

Questo altresì procede dal Signor degli eserciti, il quale è maraviglioso in consiglio, e grande in sapienza.

También esto salió de Jehová de los ejércitos, para hacer maravilloso el consejo y engrandecer la sabiduría.

This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

This also comes out from the LORD of Armies, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom.
