¡AY de la corona de soberbia, de los ebrios de Ephraim, y de la flor caduca de la hermosura de su gloria, que está sobre la cabeza del valle fértil de los aturdidos del vino!
Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!
Woe to the crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim, and to the fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fertile valley of those who are overcome with wine!
Voici, le Seigneur a en main un fort et puissant homme, ressemblant à une tempête de grêle, à un tourbillon qui brise tout, à une tempête de grosses eaux débordées ; il jettera tout par terre avec la main.
He aquí Jehová tiene un fuerte y poderoso: como turbión de granizo y como torbellino trastornador; como ímpetu de recias aguas que inundan, con fuerza derriba á tierra.
Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.
Behold, the Lord has one who is mighty and strong. Like a storm of hail, a destroying storm, and like a storm of mighty waters overflowing, he will cast them down to the earth with his hand.
La couronne de fierté et les ivrognes d’Ephraïm seront foulés aux pieds.
Con los pies será hollada la corona de soberbia de los borrachos de Ephraim;
The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:
The crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim will be trodden under foot.
Et la noblesse de sa gloire qui est sur le sommet de la grasse vallée ne sera qu’une fleur qui tombe ; ils seront comme les fruits hâtifs avant l’Eté, lesquels incontinent que quelqu’un a vus, il les dévore dès qu’il les a dans sa main.
Y será la flor caduca de la hermosura de su gloria que está sobre la cabeza del valle fértil, como la fruta temprana, la primera del verano, la cual, en viéndola el que la mira, se la traga tan luego como la tiene á mano.
And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.
The fading flower of his glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fertile valley, shall be like the first-ripe fig before the summer, which someone picks and eats as soon as he sees it.
En ce jour-là l’Eternel des armées sera pour couronne de noblesse, et pour diadème de gloire au résidu de son peuple.
En aquel día Jehová de los ejércitos será por corona de gloria y diadema de hermosura á las reliquias de su pueblo;
In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
In that day, the LORD of Armies will become a crown of glory and a diadem of beauty to the residue of his people,
Et pour esprit de jugement à celui qui sera assis sur le siège de jugement ; et pour force à ceux qui dans le combat feront retourner les commis jusques à la porte.
Y por espíritu de juicio al que se sentare en juicio, y por fortaleza á los que harán tornar la batalla hasta la puerta.
And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.
and a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.
Mais ceux-ci aussi se sont oubliés dans le vin, et se sont fourvoyés dans la cervoise ; le Sacrificateur et le Prophète se sont oubliés dans la cervoise ; ils ont été engloutis par le vin, ils se sont fourvoyés a cause de la cervoise ; ils se sont oubliés dans la vision, ils ont bronché dans le jugement.
Mas también éstos erraron con el vino, y con la sidra se entontecieron; el sacerdote y el profeta erraron con la sidra, fueron trastornados del vino, aturdiéronse con la sidra, erraron en la visión, tropezaron en el juicio.
But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
They also reel with wine, and stagger with strong drink. The priest and the prophet reel with strong drink. They are swallowed up by wine. They stagger with strong drink. They err in vision. They stumble in judgment.
Car toutes leurs tables ont été couvertes de ce qu’ils ont rendu et de leurs ordures ; tellement qu’il n’y a plus de place.
Porque todas las mesas están llenas de vómito y suciedad, hasta no haber lugar limpio.
For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.
For all tables are completely full of filthy vomit and filthiness.
A qui enseignerait-on la science, et à qui ferait-on entendre l’enseignement ? ils sont comme ceux qu’on vient de sevrer, et de retirer de la mamelle.
¿A quién se enseñará ciencia, ó á quién se hará entender doctrina? ¿A los quitados de la leche? ¿á los arrancados de los pechos?
Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
Whom will he teach knowledge? To whom will he explain the message? Those who are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts?
Car il faut leur donner commandement après commandement ; commandement après commandement ; ligne après ligne ; ligne après ligne ; un peu ici, un peu là.
Porque mandamiento tras mandamiento, mandato sobre mandato, renglón tras renglón, línea sobre línea, un poquito allí, otro poquito allá:
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

C’est pourquoi il parlera à ce peuple-ci avec un bégayement de lèvres, et une langue étrangère.
Porque en lengua de tartamudos, y en extraña lengua hablará á este pueblo,
For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
But he will speak to this nation with stammering lips and in another language,
Il lui avait dit ; c’est ici le repos, que vous donniez du repos à celui qui est lassé, et c’est ici le soulagement ; mais ils n’ont point voulu écouter.
A los cuales él dijo: Este es el reposo: dad reposo al cansado; y éste es el refrigerio: mas no quisieron oir.
To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
Therefore the LORD’s word will be to them precept on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, there a little; that they may go, fall backward, be broken, be snared, and be taken.
C’est pourquoi écoutez la parole de l’Eternel, vous hommes moqueurs, qui dominez sur ce peuple qui est à Jérusalem ;
Por tanto, varones burladores, que estáis enseñoreados sobre este pueblo que está en Jerusalem, oid la palabra de Jehová.
Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.
Therefore hear the LORD’s word, you scoffers, that rule this people in Jerusalem:
Car vous avez dit ; nous avons fait accord avec la mort, et nous avons intelligence avec le sépulcre ; quand le fléau débordé traversera, il ne viendra point sur nous, car nous avons mis le mensonge pour notre retraite, et nous nous sommes cachés sous la fausseté.
Porque habéis dicho: Concierto tenemos hecho con la muerte, é hicimos acuerdo con la sepultura; cuando pasare el turbión del azote, no llegará á nosotros, pues que hemos puesto nuestra acogida en la mentira, y en la falsedad nos esconderemos:
Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
“Because you have said, ‘We have made a covenant with death, and we are in agreement with Sheol. When the overflowing scourge passes through, it won’t come to us; for we have made lies our refuge, and we have hidden ourselves under falsehood.’”
C’est pourquoi ainsi a dit le Seigneur, l’Eternel ; voici je mettrai pour fondement une pierre en Sion, une pierre éprouvée, la pierre de l’angle le plus précieux, pour être un fondement solide ; celui qui croira ne se hâtera point.
Por tanto, el Señor Jehová dice así: He aquí que yo fundo en Sión una piedra, piedra de fortaleza, de esquina, de precio, de cimiento estable: el que creyere, no se apresure.

Et je mettrai le jugement à l’équerre, et la justice au niveau ; et la grêle détruira la retraite du mensonge, et les eaux inonderont le lieu où l’on se retirait.
Y ajustaré el juicio á cordel, y á nivel la justicia; y granizo barrerá la acogida de la mentira, y aguas arrollarán el escondrijo.
Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
I will make justice the measuring line, and righteousness the plumb line. The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place.
Et votre accord avec la mort sera aboli, et votre intelligence avec le sépulcre ne tiendra point ; quand le fléau débordé traversera, vous en serez foulés.
Y será anulado vuestro concierto con la muerte, y vuestro acuerdo con el sepulcro no será firme: cuando pasare el turbión del azote, seréis de él hollados.
And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
Your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol shall not stand. When the overflowing scourge passes through, then you will be trampled down by it.
Dès qu’il traversera il vous emportera ; or il traversera tous les matins, de jour, et de nuit ; et dès qu’on en entendra le bruit il n’y aura que remuement.
Luego que comenzare á pasar, él os arrebatará; porque de mañana de mañana pasará, de día y de noche; y será que el espanto solamente haga entender lo oído.
From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.
As often as it passes through, it will seize you; for morning by morning it will pass through, by day and by night; and it will be nothing but terror to understand the message.”
Car le lit sera trop court, et on ne pourra pas s’y étendre ; et la couverture trop étroite quand on se voudra envelopper.
Porque la cama es tan angosta que no basta, y la cubierta estrecha para recoger.
For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.
For the bed is too short to stretch out on, and the blanket is too narrow to wrap oneself in.
Parce que l’Eternel se lèvera comme en la montagne de Pératsim, et il sera ému comme dans la vallée de Gabaon, pour faire son oeuvre, son oeuvre extraordinaire, et pour faire son travail, son travail non accoutumé.
Porque Jehová se levantará como en el monte Perasim, como en el valle de Gabaón se enojará; para hacer su obra, su extraña obra, y para hacer su operación, su extraña operación.
For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.
For the LORD will rise up as on Mount Perazim. He will be angry as in the valley of Gibeon; that he may do his work, his unusual work, and bring to pass his act, his extraordinary act.
Maintenant donc ne vous moquez plus, de peur que vos liens ne soient renforcés, car j’ai entendu de par le Seigneur l’Eternel des armées une consomption, qui est même déterminée sur tout le pays.
Ahora pues, no os burléis, porque no se aprieten más vuestras ataduras: porque consumación y acabamiento sobre toda la tierra he oído del Señor Jehová de los ejércitos.
Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
Now therefore don’t be scoffers, lest your bonds be made strong; for I have heard a decree of destruction from the Lord, GOD of Armies, on the whole earth.
Prêtez l’oreille, et écoutez ma voix ; soyez attentifs, et écoutez mon discours.
Estad atentos, y oid mi voz; estad atentos, y oid mi dicho.
Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.
Give ear, and hear my voice! Listen, and hear my speech!
Celui qui laboure pour semer, labourera-t-il tous les jours ? ne cassera-t-il pas, et ne rompra-t-il pas les mottes de sa terre ?
El que ara para sembrar, ¿arará todo el día; romperá y quebrará los terrones de la tierra?
Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?
Does he who plows to sow plow continually? Does he keep turning the soil and breaking the clods?
Quand il en aura égalé le dessus, ne sèmera-t-il pas la vesce ; ne répandra-t-il pas le cumin, ne mettra-t-il pas le froment au meilleur endroit, et l’orge en son lieu assigné, et l’épeautre en son quartier ?
Después que hubiere igualado su superficie, ¿no derramará la neguilla, sembrará el comino, pondrá el trigo por su orden, y la cebada en su señal, y la avena en su término?
When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?
When he has leveled its surface, doesn’t he plant the dill, and scatter the cumin seed, and put in the wheat in rows, the barley in the appointed place, and the spelt in its place?
Parce que son Dieu l’instruit et l’enseigne touchant ce qu’il faut faire.
Porque su Dios le instruye, y le enseña á juicio;
For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.
For his God instructs him in right judgment and teaches him.
Car on ne foule pas la vesce avec la herse, et on ne tourne point la roue du chariot sur le cumin ; mais on bat la vesce avec la verge, et le cumin avec le bâton.
Que la neguilla no se trillará con trillo, ni sobre el comino rodará rueda de carreta; sino que con un palo se sacude la neguilla, y el comino con una vara.
For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.
For the dill isn’t threshed with a sharp instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned over the cumin; but the dill is beaten out with a stick, and the cumin with a rod.
Le blé dont on fait le pain se menuise,car le laboureur ne saurait jamais le fouler entièrement, et quoiqu’il l’écrase avec la roue de son chariot, néanmoins il ne le menuisera pas avec ses chevaux.
El pan se trilla; mas no siempre lo trillará, ni lo comprimirá con la rueda de su carreta, ni lo quebrantará con los dientes de su trillo.
Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.
Bread flour must be ground; so he will not always be threshing it. Although he drives the wheel of his threshing cart over it, his horses don’t grind it.
Ceci aussi procède de l’Eternel des armées, qui est admirable en conseil, et magnifique en moyens.
También esto salió de Jehová de los ejércitos, para hacer maravilloso el consejo y engrandecer la sabiduría.
This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.
This also comes out from the LORD of Armies, who is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in wisdom.
