¿Se quedan maravillados, incrédulos? ¿No lo creen? ¡Pues adelante, y continúen ciegos si así ha de ser! ¡Torpes están, y no por la embriaguez! ¡Se tambalean, y no por el vino!

Deteneos y maravillaos; ofuscaos y cegad; embriagaos, y no de vino; titubead, y no de sidra.

Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.

Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be blind! They are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink.
