Isaías 30

A mis profetas les dicen: «¡A callar! ¡Basta de mensajes suyos!». O dicen: «No nos digan la verdad, dígannos algo agradable, dígannos mentiras alegres. Olvídense ya de esas cosas tristes que anuncian, ya hemos oído más que suficiente de su Santo de Israel».

Que dicen á los videntes: No veáis; y á los profetas: No nos profeticéis lo recto, decidnos cosas halagüeñas, profetizad mentiras;

Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

who tell the seers, “Don’t see!” and the prophets, “Don’t prophesy to us right things. Tell us pleasant things. Prophesy deceits.
