1He aquí, un rey gobernará con justicia, y los jefes tomarán las decisiones correctas.
2Y aquel hombre será como lugar seguro del viento, y como cubierta de la tormenta; como ríos de agua en un lugar seco, como la sombra de una gran roca en un desierto.
3Y los ojos de los que ven, no serán cerrados, y los que oigan, oirán la palabra.
4El hombre de impulsos repentinos se volverá sabio de corazón, y el que tenga la lengua lenta, tendrá el poder de hablar claramente.
5El hombre necio ya no será nombrado noble, y no dirán del hombre falso que es un hombre de honor.
6Porque el hombre insensato dirá cosas tontas, con pensamientos malvados en su corazón, obrando lo que es impuro, y hablando falsamente sobre el Señor, deja sin comida a quien lo necesita, y no da agua a aquel cuya alma lo está deseando.
7Los designios de los avaros son malvados, y se proponen la destrucción del pobre por medio de palabras falsas, incluso cuando está en lo correcto.
8Pero el hombre de corazón noble tiene propósitos nobles, y por ellos será guiado.
9Escuchen mi voz, mujeres que viven cómodamente; presten atención a mis palabras, hijas que no temen al peligro.
10En menos de un año, ustedes, mujeres confiadas, estarán preocupadas, porque los productos de los viñedos serán cortados, y no habrá recolección de fruto.
11Tiemblen de miedo, mujeres despreocupadas; Preocúpate, tú que no temes al peligro: quítate la túnica y vístete de dolor.
12Golpéense él pecho, por los campos agradables, la vid fértil;
13Y por la tierra de mi pueblo, por donde vendrán espinas; Incluso por todas las casas de alegría en el alegre pueblo.
14Porque los palacios no tendrán hombres viviendo en ellas; la ciudad que estaba llena de ruido se convertirá en ruinas; la fortaleza y la torre de vigilancia se mantendrán abiertas para siempre, una alegría para los asnos de los bosques, un lugar de comida para los rebaños;
15Hasta que el espíritu venga de lo alto, y la tierra baldía se convierte en un campo fértil, y el campo fértil se transforma en un bosque.
16Entonces en el desierto habrá un gobierno recto, y la justicia tendrá su lugar en el campo fértil.
17Y él producto de la justicia será la paz; y el producto de la justicia es tranquilidad y seguridad para siempre.
18Y mi pueblo vivirá en paz, en casas donde no hay miedo, y en lugares tranquilos de descanso.
19Y Cuando caiga el granizo los árboles altos caerán, y la ciudad será derribada por completo.
20Bienaventurado eres tú, que estás sembrando semillas junto a las aguas y sueltas el buey y el asno.

1HE aquí que en justicia reinará un rey, y príncipes presidirán en juicio.
2Y será aquel varón como escondedero contra el viento, y como acogida contra el turbión; como arroyos de aguas en tierra de sequedad, como sombra de gran peñasco en tierra calurosa.
3No se ofuscarán entonces los ojos de los que ven, y los oídos de los oyentes oirán atentos.
4Y el corazón de los necios entenderá para saber, y la lengua de los tartamudos será desenvuelta para hablar claramente.
5El mezquino nunca más será llamado liberal, ni será dicho generoso el avariento.
6Porque el mezquino hablará mezquindades, y su corazón fabricará iniquidad, para hacer la impiedad y para hablar escarnio contra Jehová, dejando vacía el alma hambrienta, y quitando la bebida al sediento.
7Cierto los avaros malas medidas tienen: él maquina pensamientos para enredar á los simples con palabras cautelosas, y para hablar en juicio contra el pobre.
8Mas el liberal pensará liberalidades, y por liberalidades subirá.
9Mujeres reposadas, levantaos, oid mi voz; confiadas, escuchad mi razón.
10Días y años tendréis espanto, oh confiadas; porque la vendimia faltará, y la cosecha no acudirá.
11Temblad, oh reposadas; turbaos, oh confiadas: despojaos, desnudaos, ceñid los lomos con saco.
12Sobre los pechos lamentarán por los campos deleitosos, por la vid fértil.
13Sobre la tierra de mi pueblo subirán espinas y cardos; y aun sobre todas las casas de placer en la ciudad de alegría.
14Porque los palacios serán desiertos, la multitud de la ciudad cesará: las torres y fortalezas se tornarán cuevas para siempre, donde huelguen asnos monteses, y ganados hagan majada:
15Hasta que sobre nosotros sea derramado espíritu de lo alto, y el desierto se torne en campo labrado, y el campo labrado sea estimado por bosque.
16Y habitará el juicio en el desierto, y en el campo labrado asentará la justicia.
17Y el efecto de la justicia será paz; y la labor de justicia, reposo y seguridad para siempre.
18Y mi pueblo habitará en morada de paz, y en habitaciones seguras, y en recreos de reposo.
19Y el granizo, cuando descendiere, será en los montes; y la ciudad será del todo abatida.
20Dichosos vosotros los que sembráis sobre todas aguas, y metéis en ellas el pie de buey y de asno.

1Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
2And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
3And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.
4The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
5The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.
6For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
7The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
8But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.
9Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech.
10Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.
11Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.
12They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
13Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:
14Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
15Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
16Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.
17And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
18And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
19When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.
20Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.

1Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in justice.
2A man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the storm, as streams of water in a dry place, as the shade of a large rock in a weary land.
3The eyes of those who see will not be dim, and the ears of those who hear will listen.
4The heart of the rash will understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers will be ready to speak plainly.
5The fool will no longer be called noble, nor the scoundrel be highly respected.
6For the fool will speak folly, and his heart will work iniquity, to practice profanity, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
7The ways of the scoundrel are evil. He devises wicked plans to destroy the humble with lying words, even when the needy speaks right.
8But the noble devises noble things, and he will continue in noble things.
9Rise up, you women who are at ease! Hear my voice! You careless daughters, give ear to my speech!
10For days beyond a year you will be troubled, you careless women; for the vintage will fail. The harvest won’t come.
11Tremble, you women who are at ease! Be troubled, you careless ones! Strip yourselves, make yourselves naked, and put sackcloth on your waist.
12Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
13Thorns and briers will come up on my people’s land; yes, on all the houses of joy in the joyous city.
14For the palace will be forsaken. The populous city will be deserted. The hill and the watchtower will be for dens forever, a delight for wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks,
15until the Spirit is poured on us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is considered a forest.
16Then justice will dwell in the wilderness; and righteousness will remain in the fruitful field.
17The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.
18My people will live in a peaceful habitation, in safe dwellings, and in quiet resting places,
19though hail flattens the forest, and the city is leveled completely.
20Blessed are you who sow beside all waters, who send out the feet of the ox and the donkey.
