Isaías 33

Malheur à ceux qui vous affligent ! Que nul ne vous rende misérables ; que celui qui vous méprise cesse de vous mépriser. Ceux qui vous comptent pour rien seront pris à leur tour ; ils seront subjugués, ils deviendront aussi faibles que le ver sur un manteau.

¡AY de ti, el que saqueas, y nunca fuiste saqueado; el que haces deslealtad, bien que nadie contra ti la hizo! Cuando acabares de saquear, serás tú saqueado; y cuando acabares de hacer deslealtad, haráse contra ti.

Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.

Woe to you who destroy, but you weren’t destroyed, and who betray, but nobody betrayed you! When you have finished destroying, you will be destroyed; and when you have finished betrayal, you will be betrayed.

Seigneur, faites-nous miséricorde ; car nous avons eu confiance en vous ; la race des incrédules est allée à sa perte ; notre salut viendra au temps de la tribulation.

Oh Jehová, ten misericordia de nosotros, á ti hemos esperado: tú, brazo de ellos en la mañana, sé también nuestra salud en tiempo de la tribulación.

O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.

LORD, be gracious to us. We have waited for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.

A votre voix redoutable, les peuples ont eu peur de vous, et ils ont été hors d'eux-mêmes, et les Gentils se sont dispersés.

Los pueblos huyeron á la voz del estruendo; las gentes fueron esparcidas por tus levantamientos.

At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.

At the noise of the thunder, the peoples have fled. When you lift yourself up, the nations are scattered.

Maintenant on recueillera vos dépouilles, celles du petit comme celles du grand ; tel un homme ramasse des sauterelles, ainsi on se jouera de vous.

Mas vuestra presa será cogida como cuando cogen las orugas: correrá sobre ellos como de una á otra parte corren las langostas.

And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.

Your plunder will be gathered as the caterpillar gathers. Men will leap on it as locusts leap.

Le Saint, le Seigneur Dieu, qui réside au plus haut des cieux, a rempli Sion de justice et d'équité.

Será ensalzado Jehová, el cual mora en las alturas: llenó á Sión de juicio y de justicia.

The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.

The LORD is exalted, for he dwells on high. He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness.

Ils se soumettront à la loi ; notre salut est dans ses trésors ; c'est là que la sagesse, la science et la piété sont auprès du Seigneur ; ce sont là les trésors de la justice.

Y reinarán en tus tiempos la sabiduría y la ciencia, y la fuerza de la salvación: el temor de Jehová será su tesoro.

And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

There will be stability in your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is your treasure.

Voilà qu'ils vont avoir peur de vous, ceux que vous craigniez ; ils crieront à cause de vous ; des messagers seront envoyés, pleurant amèrement et implorant la paix.

He aquí que sus embajadores darán voces afuera; los mensajeros de paz llorarán amargamente.

Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.

Behold, their valiant ones cry outside; the ambassadors of peace weep bitterly.

Car toutes leurs voies seront désertes ; la crainte qu'inspiraient les Gentils est calmée : l'alliance avec eux est rompue ; vous ne les compterez plus parmi les hommes.

Las calzadas están deshechas, cesaron los caminantes: anulado ha la alianza, aborreció las ciudades, tuvo en nada los hombres.

The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.

The highways are desolate. The traveling man ceases. The covenant is broken. He has despised the cities. He doesn’t respect man.

La terre est en deuil ; le Liban est confondu ; Saron est devenu un marécage ; la Galilée et le Carmel sont à découvert.

Enlutóse, enfermó la tierra: el Líbano se avergonzó, y fué cortado: hase tornado Sarón como desierto; y Basán y Carmel fueron sacudidos.

The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.

The land mourns and languishes. Lebanon is confounded and withers away. Sharon is like a desert, and Bashan and Carmel are stripped bare.

Alors je me lèverai, dit le Seigneur ; alors je serai loué, je serai glorifié

Ahora me levantaré, dice Jehová; ahora seré ensalzado, ahora seré engrandecido.

Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.

“Now I will arise,” says the LORD. “Now I will lift myself up. Now I will be exalted.

Vous verrez alors, et vous comprendrez ; votre force d'esprit sera vaine, et le feu vous dévorera.

Concebisteis hojarascas, aristas pariréis: el soplo de vuestro fuego os consumirá.

Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.

You will conceive chaff. You will give birth to stubble. Your breath is a fire that will devour you.

Et les nations seront consumées, comme les ronces d'un champ qu'on arrache et qu'on brûle.

Y los pueblos serán como cal quemada: como espinas cortadas serán quemados con fuego.

And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.

The peoples will be like the burning of lime, like thorns that are cut down and burned in the fire.

Ceux qui demeurent au loin apprendront ce que j'aurai fait ; ceux qui sont près de moi connaîtront ma force.

Oid, los que estáis lejos, lo que he hecho; y vosotros los cercanos, conoced mi potencia.

Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.

Hear, you who are far off, what I have done; and, you who are near, acknowledge my might.”

Les pécheurs sont partis de Sion, un tremblement a saisi les impies. Qui vous annoncera que le feu est allumé ? Qui vous fera connaître le séjour éternel ?

Los pecadores se asombraron en Sión, espanto sobrecogió á los hipócritas. ¿Quién de nosotros morará con el fuego consumidor? ¿quién de nosotros habitará con las llamas eternas?

The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

The sinners in Zion are afraid. Trembling has seized the godless ones. Who among us can live with the devouring fire? Who among us can live with everlasting burning?

Celui qui marche dans la justice, qui parle avec droiture, qui hait les transgressions et l'iniquité, qui de ses mains repousse les présents, qui fait la sourde oreille quand on excuse l'effusion du sang, qui ferme les yeux pour ne pas voir le mal.

El que camina en justicia, y habla lo recto; el que aborrece la ganancia de violencias, el que sacude sus manos por no recibir cohecho, el que tapa su oreja por no oir sangres, el que cierra sus ojos por no ver cosa mala:

He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;

He who walks righteously and speaks blamelessly, he who despises the gain of oppressions, who gestures with his hands, refusing to take a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed, and shuts his eyes from looking at evil—

Celui-là résidera dans un grotte élevée en une roche inexpugnable. Là on lui donnera des vivres et de l'eau toujours fidèle à couler.

Este habitará en las alturas: fortalezas de rocas serán su lugar de acogimiento; se le dará su pan, y sus aguas serán ciertas.

He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.

he will dwell on high. His place of defense will be the fortress of rocks. His bread will be supplied. His waters will be sure.

Vous verrez le roi dans sa gloire, vos yeux verront de loin la terre ;

Tus ojos verán al Rey en su hermosura; verán la tierra que está lejos.

Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

Your eyes will see the king in his beauty. They will see a distant land.

Et votre âme s'occupera de l'objet de sa crainte. Où sont les scribes ? Où sont les conseillers ? Où est celui qui apprenait à compter les petits enfants ?

Tu corazón imaginará el espanto, y dirá: ¿Qué es del escriba? ¿qué del pesador? ¿qué del que pone en lista las casas más insignes?

Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?

Your heart will meditate on the terror. Where is he who counted? Where is he who weighed? Where is he who counted the towers?

On ne verra plus un peuple, grands et petits, sans sagesse, parlant une langue inconnue, qu'un peuple ne pourrait ni ouïr ni comprendre.

No verás á aquel pueblo espantable, pueblo de lengua oscura de entender, de lengua tartamuda que no comprendas.

Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.

You will no longer see the fierce people, a people of a deep speech that you can’t comprehend, with a strange language that you can’t understand.

Voici la ville de Sion, notre salut ; tes yeux verront Jérusalem, riche cité ; ses tabernacles ne chancelleront pas ; les pieux de son tabernacle demeureront inébranlables dans les siècles des siècles, et ses cordages ne se rompront jamais ;

Mira á Sión, ciudad de nuestras solemnidades: tus ojos verán á Jerusalem, morada de quietud, tienda que no será desarmada, ni serán arrancadas sus estacas, ni ninguna de sus cuerdas será rota.

Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.

Look at Zion, the city of our appointed festivals. Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet habitation, a tent that won’t be removed. Its stakes will never be plucked up, nor will any of its cords be broken.

Parce que le nom du Seigneur est grand pour vous : pour vous il y aura une contrée, des fleuves et des canaux larges et spacieux. Mais toi, tu ne prendras pas cette voie ; le navire que poussent tes rameurs ne la prendra point.

Porque ciertamente allí será Jehová para con nosotros fuerte, lugar de ríos, de arroyos muy anchos, por el cual no andará galera, ni por él pasará grande navío.

But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.

But there the LORD will be with us in majesty, a place of wide rivers and streams, in which no galley with oars will go, neither will any gallant ship pass by there.

Car mon Dieu est grand ; le Seigneur mon juge ne me dédaignera pas ; le Seigneur est notre roi, le Seigneur est notre prince : c'est le Seigneur qui nous sauvera.

Porque Jehová es nuestro juez, Jehová es nuestro legislador, Jehová es nuestro Rey, él mismo nos salvará.

For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

For the LORD is our judge. The LORD is our lawgiver. The LORD is our king. He will save us.

Tes cordages sont rompus, parce qu'ils n'avaient pas de force ; ton mât penche, il ne fera pas descendre les voiles ; il n'élèvera pas le signal, jusqu'à ce que le navire soit livré au pillage. Et beaucoup de boiteux même y feront du butin.

Tus cuerdas se aflojaron; no afirmaron su mástil, ni entesaron la vela: repartiráse entonces presa de muchos despojos: los cojos arrebatarán presa.

Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.

Your rigging is untied. They couldn’t strengthen the foot of their mast. They couldn’t spread the sail. Then the prey of a great plunder was divided. The lame took the prey.

Et l'on ne dira pas parmi le peuple qui y demeure : Je suis trop las ; car leur péché leur a été remis.

No dirá el morador: Estoy enfermo: el pueblo que morare en ella será absuelto de pecado.

And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

The inhabitant won’t say, “I am sick.” The people who dwell therein will be forgiven their iniquity.
